I wasn't paying attention...listening to some groovy tunes like usual...happened to be driving through Golden, CO and distracted by hang gliders...All true.
forgot what was about to happen, looked down and saw this somewhat anticlimactic number lol!
I was kind of hoping some more engine lights would come on, like as a little celebration or something

Here’s our inside bunny. Her name is appropriately “Bun”. Maybe she tells the outside bunnies that we are OK.
That’s awesome! 🐇
Found one of the babies in the skimmer well earlier today. Saved it from getting sucked down into the watery nethers between the skimmer basket and suction cap. Lucky little fella. Now I need to find the hole in the screen he snuck in through.
Edit: I apparently also need to clean and re-point my grout joints...

Very timely! Just learned that another player from my alma matter was added to the Charger's roster in the first day of the NFL Draft. Rashawn Slater, an Offensive Tackle, went 13th and joins Justin Jackson who was a standout running back for Northwestern in years past. Go Chargers!
Yesterday was a big day for Northwestern. Who would have thought 20 years ago that two players from NW would have been selected in the first round.
Thanks.
The above (and repeated below) pictured photo of Dermot Mulroney in his role as the head National Guardsman and helicopter pilot in the Alaska filmed movie "Big Miracle" was prompted for inclusion in my above photo feature by my having just learned that he was also a Northwestern Alum.
Ironically, when I went to Google to try to locate an image of him a photo of myself (in my role on an episode of Hawaii Five-0) appeared right under and to the right of his photo (as also repeated below.)
Cool positioning of the full moon and the aircraft.
Full moon here tonight as well. Will check back and post some photos of it as seen from my place that I just took.
OK, here are the promised Moon Shots. The first two were just taken with an iPhone while the final two were taken with my SLR, albeit later in the evening. (Had I had the SLR earlier the details of the moon's surface would likely have even been evident.)
For comparison, I Just came across this Moon Shot photo I had taken previously in a prior year with my SLR at an earlier point in the evening. The moon is even positioned above the same mountain range although as viewed from the lake located a block north of where I took the recent photos from my house.

Forget looking at the hand gliders. Look for a gas station.
Well...had the phone out doing no look photos (a special skill of mine)...cropped that one of the odometer. Got a couple pics of hang gliders landing next to me too...and had some time to get the gas since I was going down hill lol!
Actually the tank is pretty big in this car, 18.5 gallons.
No one mentioned how impressive it is to have the parking brake on at 50mph!
Fresh 85% lean ground beef
White mushrooms sauteed in evoo
Brioche bun, browed with butter
Crispy romaine lettuce, juicy roma tomatoes, tangy red onions, kosher dill pickles, crispy center cut bacon, American and Colby cheese...
Over the years I have picked up a few treasure coins, but the first was from The Atocha when Treasure Hunter Mel Fisher's son Kim travelled to where I live.
As recorded in the faded Polaroid photo, the experience of that day was shared with two of my children which has made for a memorable memory.
I can deduce from this picture you went in early to eat, when there where few people. In n' Outs that I frequent usually only burn the edges of the bun when the cook is anticipating crowds, and the buns sit longer creating the burnt edges. Because of the long car lines caused by Covid, buns rarely get burnt; they've got too many cars stacked up waiting to get their orders. The car lines at my In n' Out are usually at least a half hour wait at dinner. And that's with two people taking orders in the car lineup.
I can also deduce you have a very strong stomach. Those peppers would put me in the hospital with my GERD.
It almost looks like that plane in the foreground is going backwards. There must be a name for that effect as it seems similar to what one sees peering out of a train window when positioned next to another train and it appears you are moving when still at a standstill.

Photo Riddle for the Week:
What country can you only drive to by crossing an airfield?
Hint 1: The roadway to the top of this country:
Hint 2: The view looking upward as one approaches the top:
Hint 3: My photo taken at the top of this country:
Hint 4: My view looking downward from atop this country with the airfield runway that had to be crossed to enter it visible below:
Answer: The country should be evident from this final photo:
Pictured: My rented vehicle on the aircraft runway that one must cross to enter into this country:
Wow, 300,000! Now that merits a give away!

OK, actually located a name for the effect - Relative Motion.
Used the lens on the left to take the following image (distance about 80' and a razor thin focus area)
@Raybo
Is your lens on the left with which you took the impressive photo a catadioptric or mirror lens? I have always wanted to try one of those in a 500mm.
