this is awesome.
When a squirrel finally learns how to hit my identical feeder I treat it to a free shuttle ride to the local park in my Have-a-Heart trap.
That plan would obviously not work with this bad boy.

That’s not El Capitan. El Capitan is very close to Yosemite Village. The picture was taken 0.5 miles from the red circle which is the entry into Yosemite from Lee Vining which is still closed while the roads are being cleared.

Over the years I have picked up a few treasure coins, but the first was from The Atocha when Treasure Hunter Mel Fisher's son Kim travelled to where I live.
As recorded in the faded Polaroid photo, the experience of that day was shared with two of my children which has made for a memorable memory.

For this Friday eve - pictured is the all new KIA Minivan that isn't a Minivan, with an all new name, Carnival.
Pictured here in black and a dark gray that KIA calls Panthera Metal.
It was designed to look like a SUV which KIA calls a MVP rather than a Minivan.
The black one is the first, and only, top of the line (SX-Prestige) Kia Carnival MVP (Multi Purpose Vehicle) to arrive in my state to date. It sold today, the day after it arrived, for $4,000 over MSRP. The interior photos are from this Prestige model.

I just love old odd signs!
Wonder if they dealt in coin collectables too!
Are those foot grips for traction when you have to really bear down?

OK, here is a Friday posting - Tonight's Friday evening hike into the nearby park's cross-country ski trails now that the snow has melted.
The group gathers:

Over hill, over dale as we hit the dusty trail:
An ominous warning as the iPhone self bumps a cryptic set of numbers:
Followed by a formidable patch of thorn laden Devil's Club at the next bend:
The hike's only encountered wildlife were these birds that flew over us:
Included on the trail was a surprise Christmas encounter in mid May:
A verified 5 plus miles traversed by foot for the day:
