It has been one year since I took these photos at my cousin's place where he and his daughter shared the viewing of their displayed collectibles.
Anyone here headed to Las Vegas for the PCGS event? If looking for an added attraction and interested in collectibles of automotive nature above is an option.

Keeping with the Irish theme, here are some of my green collectibles, including the copper clad Statue of Liberty that reminds of the Irish Immigrants who welcomed its sight as they arrived in New York City's Harbor to begin a new life here.
Staying with the "design" theme, here are a series of photos from a recent test drive that I'll caption as, "From Design Concept to Reality."
The subject is the all new hybrid Toyota Sienna Minivan that gets 36 MPG on the highway and 35 MPG overall.
(The measured interior distance from tailgate to back of folded seats is six feet - was checking to see if the interior could be used as a sleeping surface with the third row seats folded down into the floor and the second row Captain Chair seats folded up and pushed as far forward as possible.)

Best Pizza on the planet and the home brewed Root Beer is outstanding as well with the Sesame Soy Salad topped by Blackened Chicken a perfect complement. Pie of choice = Wild Mushroom. Decent Bar-B-Q Chicken Wings as well.

Me and my little brother probably watching a rare cartoon on tv.
We were living in Sweden at the time, and that's some original Ikea furniture in the background.
My mom used to hand make almost all our clothes and the outfits were amazing!
That big table is now at my brother's place in Tokyo

Speaking of small cars, I once owned an original of Honda's first imported into the U.S. (The N600) car as seen in this ad on the left heralding Honda's subsequent decades of car sales in the United States. (It first came to the U.S. as a 1970 model.)
Below pictured is a photo of the equivalent car which I took in Japan before they were imported into the U.S. (In Japan it was first introduced in 1967 as the N360 with a smaller engine than the N600 that was exported.)
Pictured below that is the Honda N600 I owned back in the early 70s.
And here is one awaiting restoration at my cousin's car museum in Las Vegas. There is apparently quite a collectors' market for this original Honda that came to the United States.

I haven't seen a show stopping candy apple red like that since the 60's.
Views from the deck this morning. Something about the early morning sunlight that adds a measure of surreality.
It Must be FRIDAY.

No such thing as built in obsolescence back then.
As was this one.
Green, all around me.
