OK, its some hours away, but here for this Friday are some added views from last week's travels with an emphasis on Hoover Dam, .....
Looking down from the "new" highway bridge that now connects Nevada and Arizona supplementing the road on top of Hoover Dam from decades past.
Exactly one year ago in March of 2020 I was able to capture, as posted below, this photo of the Hoover Dam. I post it here to allow a comparison with the above photos I just took this March of 2021. While taken from different vantage points, one can compare the evident water levels then and now.
That's the bar!!! The one I mentioned in that recent post with the piano covered with coins
That bar during that photo or years later actually had what I remember to be Morgans embedded in it.
...I was working at Knott's at the time...I was a tour guide in Sam & Sadie's Haunted Shack
THANKS! Yes, I recall that upside down floor. Perhaps you were my tour guide.

I shot the MA ATA circuit for years. Royalston, Singletary come to mind, out by you? Ever do the states at Minuteman in Burlington?

A few months ago I told you all how the Canadian Gov't sent me my grandfather's WWII records. There was a photocopy of the personnel photo in the packet, so I asked them if they could send me a high resolution photo. They outsource that kind of work, but they actually provided me with the pic. Didn't need much cleaning up, either. Worth the $25CAD and the months long wait.
Whenever I see a pic of a WW2 Canadian soldier, I think of this pic titled "Wait for me daddy." Image is on a coin.
I always wonder how many heroes in this picture never made it back home.
Um, not to be rude Hammer1,
That combo looks like a mouse trap.
Has anyone ever used that set up.
Looks similar to those plastic chairs made from one mold you see at BBQ's.
On a hot day let the fun begin. You'll be playing Twister with a sun dial.
Cool pic though.
In 1930 the Indiana Bell building was rotated 90°. Over a month, the structure was moved 15 inch/hr, all while 600 employees still worked there. There was no interruption to gas, heat, electricity, water, sewage, or the telephone service they provided. No one inside felt it move.

It has been one year since I took these photos at my cousin's place where he and his daughter shared the viewing of their displayed collectibles.
Anyone here headed to Las Vegas for the PCGS event? If looking for an added attraction and interested in collectibles of automotive nature above is an option.

Keeping with the Irish theme, here are some of my green collectibles, including the copper clad Statue of Liberty that reminds of the Irish Immigrants who welcomed its sight as they arrived in New York City's Harbor to begin a new life here.
Staying with the "design" theme, here are a series of photos from a recent test drive that I'll caption as, "From Design Concept to Reality."
The subject is the all new hybrid Toyota Sienna Minivan that gets 36 MPG on the highway and 35 MPG overall.
(The measured interior distance from tailgate to back of folded seats is six feet - was checking to see if the interior could be used as a sleeping surface with the third row seats folded down into the floor and the second row Captain Chair seats folded up and pushed as far forward as possible.)
Members I have done business with: Silverman68, jfoot13, GAB, ricman, Smittys, scrapman1077, RyGuy, Connecticoin, Meltdown, VikingDude, Peaceman, Patches and more.
Best Pizza on the planet and the home brewed Root Beer is outstanding as well with the Sesame Soy Salad topped by Blackened Chicken a perfect complement. Pie of choice = Wild Mushroom. Decent Bar-B-Q Chicken Wings as well.

Cool! We actually have one in our basement. We purchased it awhile back at an estate sale. Only $40. Check ours out.
