FWIW, below are photos from the past when a location in the first of the above pictures was the site of a movie set for the filming of the Drew Barrymore/John Krasinski/Kristine Bell, et. al film, "Big Miracle."
For reference compare the point of location of the abandoned boat with a red interior that remains there today as seen in both the first and below posted photos.

My son and I explored The Great Wolf Lodge.
Very cool as were the people also.
Unpacking and found a stowaway.

Took the family to a ghost tour at The Strand in Galveston last weekend. While everybody was learning about Jean Lafitte and some very unfortunate others. I was thinking pirate loot and how can I get into the attic

Beautiful! I’ve worked a lot of gem and lapidary shows and have seen some amazing collections. I wish I knew more about them. It would be nice to have a couple of nice pieces to display.
I had something of a "personal air show" from my living room deck today as a U.S. Air Force fighter jet went vertical as pictured:
and then swooped straight back down behind my house
This was then followed just a few. hours later by a lightning rain storm that set a record for the most rain (.6 inches) to fall in a single hour period since 1963. That then was capped off by a rainbow that stretched over the same sky.
Just learned that the nearby airbase is home to 20 F-22 US Air Force 5th generation fighter jets, to include the above pictured.
Decided to dine out for the first time since the pandemic outbreak. Well, at least the exhaust fans were in full blast while the food cooked in front of us.
