Re: 2024 NFL Offseason/Regular Season Thread

I haven't watched a complete NFL game since mid-season, I've taken to just watching the 10-15 minutes of highlights for most games. The trend I see in announcing is disappointing, instead of telling viewers what's happening on the field the announcers seem to be actively pulling for certain teams to win. That's OK with a local broadcast, but with a national audience the goal has always been unbiased. When and why does that seem to be changing??
I think too many people think that their opinions matter more than than anyone else's and to heck with them if they have a different opinion.

With Buffalo likely going to rest players and NE needing to lose to hold onto that 1st overall pick this would be the perfect time to take a look at not only Joe Milton but all of their younger players. The front office will need to make a decision on whether or not to bring back Brissett next season, might as well throw Joe out there in an actual game. They should start Milton and the rest of the non starters, not to tank but see what they got even though it's not going to be against regulars
They should definitely be tanking this final game at this point, they gain nothing by winning that game. Win or Lose the media here will rip Mayo, the front office and ownership regardless of which outcome. Just make sure that they head into the offseason with that first overall pick.
I just have a problem with any team or player going out there and trying to lose.
I will be happy if they lose for the first pick but there are no guarantees with Travis Hunter.
We will be facing Mitchell Trubitsky anyways I think so it will be tough to lose to that clown

Re: anyone else having trouble accessing their "Activity" page on the registry?

Same game here for me today.
Tried to enter a coin that I received today from GC but it was still in someone elses registry set so I sent in a cert removal request which went fine.
I then tried to access my activity page so I could add the required pictures but got the dreaded oops errors happen page.
I have no issues accessing any other pages or my sets.
Did anybody find a cure for this problem?
If so, please let me know.
Wayne
That describes my issue exactly. No resolution for me yet. I emailed setregistry@collectors.com but probably not the best time of year to be hoping for a speedy response.

HEAVY old dip and splotchy residue re-toning.
This coin would NEVER see a sticker in a P or N holder due to surface issues and yet CACG straight graded.
I'm a huge CAC fan, my personal collection is CAC driven, but CACG is nonsense.
I think it’s incredible that you can be so certain about the coin’s history and condition (as well as that CAC would “NEVER” sticker it in a PCGS or NGC holder) , just from the images provided.
To state that “CACG is nonsense” is just that - nonsense.

So how does an ear impression get on the other side of the penny ? Just curious

Re: Does this look like a PSA 9?
It is a clean and sharp card with above average color and registration but many collectors focus primarily on centering. I believe this card is within the centering parameters for a PSA 9 (which is 65/35 at top) but not likely to appeal to those who place greater emphasis on centering.
