There are NO errors on your cent as previously stated.
Everything you see can be attributed to damage.

Since you don't want to accept what forum members are telling you it is time to send the coin in to a major TPG. Let us know how much money you lose in doing so.

Yep, it happens more often than puppies—at drive-thrus where bunches of pennies lie around. The tire runs over one and puts the impression of it on the next one.

So how does an ear impression get on the other side of the penny ? Just curious

Pareidolia is the the tendency of your brain to interpret random features as familiar features.

Your coin just has damage. The 2nd "nose" is just corrosion on the one and only nose.

It is not an ear. It is curved damage that you are interpreting as an ear. You're actually asking the right question except that you assumed the answer. The question is, how could the minting process create an ear on the reverse? Answer: it cannot. Therefore it is not an ear and not an error.

Why don't you learn about the minting process and then try to explain how your coin could have been made at the mint. ;)

Most people on this forum can see at a glance that there are no errors associated with your coin. In fact, we were nearly certain of that even before opening the thread. You see, posts like yours are made on a regular basis: coin with post-mint damage (PMD) shared with the expectation that an error will be confirmed; disbelief/frustration/anger ensues when that doesn’t happen. It’s a recurring theme. I wish you well and encourage you to continue your interest in coins.

I did not engage in any creative writing. I gave you an explanation of what you're seeing and why it is not an error.

You also received an opinion from @FredWeinberg who is the foremost error expert in the world. He was the error certification expert at PCGS until his retirement last year.

So ignoring the jokesters, you received pertinent information. You, however, do not seem open to learning.

    Good luck to you.

A huge thank-you to Fred for being the only person here to give a real answer. I was simply looking for a title suggestion for my collection, but instead, I had to wade through comments like "Walmart Truck Trash." Seriously? If that’s the best you can contribute, maybe this isn’t the right hobby for you. Coin collecting is about learning, growing, and appreciating history—not tearing others down with lazy, thoughtless remarks. Let’s keep this community focused on knowledge and respect. You received real and correct answers from many people. There were also a few jokes mixed in, but that was because your original post was a joke, as was your attitude. There is a community of knowledgeable people here, and if you have a genuine interest in coins, a positive attitude, and are actively learning, you'll fit right in. A sense of humor doesn't hurt either. Instead of casting aspersions on others, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself whether the hobby and the community are the right ones for you.

You don't have the eye, the knowledge or the experience to identify a genuine error or to recognize a coin suitable for grading. Further, everything you've posted indicates that this is not a reasonable goal for you. Best to find something else you enjoy.

That doesn't even make sense lmao 🤣! "Ah, how refreshing—when faced with a valid question that clearly challenges your self-appointed role as the ultimate authority on coin collecting, you chose to dodge the question entirely and instead attack my 'lack of expertise.' Bravo on that creative sidestep! It’s almost like you know I’m right about the possibility of a multiple-struck mule coin but just couldn’t bring yourself to admit it.

Instead, you went for the weak approach of pointing out irrelevant 'faults' in me to make yourself feel superior. Truly inspiring. If only I had your ability to avoid answering questions while delivering such half-hearted condescension. Rest assured, your lack of substance in this reply speaks volumes. But don’t worry—your ego’s safe with me. Have a great day being the forum’s gatekeeper of wisdom!"
But here’s the thing: pointing out someone’s supposed flaws doesn’t make you right. It just makes you look like someone who can’t back up their argument. Maybe next time, try answering the actual question instead of proving my point about why forums like this have such a reputation for elitist nonsense. Cheers!"

"Wow, thanks, everyone, for the in-depth forensic analysis! I had no idea this penny had such an adventurous life being run over by cars and who knows what else. Maybe next time I'll post a photo of it skydiving to get a full diagnosis. But seriously, if anyone has any actual information and real insights... Apparently my 1999 penny isn’t just a coin—it’s a Hollywood stunt double that’s been through explosions, car chases, and maybe a cameo in Mad Max! Thanks for the entertainment, —didn’t realize this was a forum for creative writing instead of coin expertise. It's good to know the community’s real talent is guessing backstories for coins instead of sharing actual knowledge. If anyone feels like being helpful for a change, I’m all ears! ....Pun intended 📌

If you’re not here to help, at least don’t hinder those who are.

Literally everyone who posted gave you a "real answer". Some did it with some added humor or hypothetical scenarios, but every answer was essentially correct.

Every year the forum sees dozens of coins like yours posted by dozens of defiant posters, so that is what drives the tone of the replies.

If you truly want to learn, why not lurk for a while and read the threads posted daily.

Honestly I have done a lot of research and I'm no expert but I am not completely naive newbie either lol I sold a Sacajawea and it was struck 15 times and professionally graded and LEGIT STRUCK 15 TIMES LOL SO .....thought I would ask this forum on any information or suggestions before getting it possibly graded I guess since knowing that it's not ran over error sometimes...Coins can actually be struck and muled on any coin .....?? Right?

Cheers!"

    You just forgot one thing...

There are very few US mules. But, of course, coins can be struck "on any coin". There are, of course, all kinds of real errors. I'm not sure what your point is. The fact that real errors exist doesn't make the coin you posted anything other than damaged as we pointed out.

All real errors exist in specific categories based on POSSIBLE deviations from the normal minting process.

There's no point in arguing with that particular forum member.
