2010 Topps - I need help!
Hi, I'm new to this site, and after several years, I've recently got back into the hobby again with the 2010 Topps set. After ripping through numerous packs, I'm having a hard time completing my set. Instead of spending more money and letting my duplicates pile up, I though I'd reach out here for some help. For Series 1, I… -
Re: Just How Good Was Sandy Koufax
1966 Home 2.26 Road 3.01 1965 2.33 Road 3.31> @Hydrant said: One of the reasons why Koufax was in so many 0-0 or 1-0 games was the same reason why his ERA was so good, its because it was harder to score runs at Dodger stadium those years compared to the rest of the parks in the league. Another reason is that league wide… -
Re: OT: Masturbarory (In the literary sense) Rehash thread
Tiant got injured right at the peak of his career in 1970. That cost him not just 1970, but in 1971 they tried to bring him back too soon and he tanked. They overreacted in 1972 and brought him back in the bullpen and didn't put him back in the rotation until late in the season. Replace the 344 innings he pitched in those… -
Re: Conder101: First presentation slab with the actual word?
OK, I will incorporate that definition into the second edition so that it more clearly explains what the Presentation slabs are. I will also add a full explaination of the numbering system into the Introduction and clarify the numbering explaination at the start of each slab type section. (On pg 288 you will find a brief… -

Re: Topps Heritage Football anyone??

What I have found so far is that #s 54-68 have regular version and variation. #s 70-79 have regular version and variation. Cards 300-364 are SPs and some of them have variations… -
Re: 2008 Topps Heritage BUYBACK set - 1959 Topps
early on I contacted Clay Luraschi at topps. He is the VP of sales I believe. He told me that there were multiple copies insertsed of all the stars, and while he never said multiple copies of each card, I only assumed that was the case. We now know better, heritage is WIDELY opened and there is no reason why we wouldn't… -
Re: Orlando NEWP
<< <i>Solid and all there for a 65, in anyone's holder. I haven't checked pop reports in years, but while hunting middle date walkers at shows in the '90's, I'd see significantly more '38D walkers in 4 and 5 holders than '37D's. And Jack Beymer's coin list mailings under the 37D listing would also mention that this date…
