Re: Mail Call - What did you get? Today or something you just want to share? Created Jul 2005
Added a 70s OPC hockey HOF RC to my collection : 1974 OPC Steve Shutt. At the time of purchase was 1 of only 2 graded PSA 9. 70s PSA 9 OPC hockey is difficult to find. I have been building my 4 sport 1970 and up HOF RC collection in PSA 9 for a while now and hockey is far and away the toughest set to put together. -

once in a great while you come across a very very difficult piece, to highlight 10k posts I just recieved this, I was going to wait to post it but what the hey! 1929-1933 Blum's Baseball Bulletin larger sized premium 11 1/2 by 13 3/4 Bottom is cut off by the scanner, but a photo barely does this card justice, slight fold… -

<< <i>Stone, Love those T3s, what is your total count up to? Stingray >> Sting PSA graded and on the registry - 13/100. So, I have a long way to go. Jay aka Qualitycards has been moving mountains on his set - he is our resident 'expert' and at the rate he's going will be the next guy to complete the set. Some of the stars… -

I love mail day! Picked up my winnings from last month's 19thcenturyonly auction today. Pretty stoked about my first E90-1 Hall of Famer: These PSA 4's were in a single lot: A small group of T206's from eBay was also waiting for me: [Obligatory bad hobby joke] A T206 Wagner! ...Heinie Wagner [/Obligatory bad hobby joke] -

<< <i>Matt must not be awake yet. Or is still giddy as a school girl over the cowboy game on sat. But I am sure he will respond after seeing that nice emmitt you have. Congrats. >> I realized after I posted it was 1 in the morning for him...of course, it still wouldn't suprise me if he responded. Nice Favre set-I really… -

<< <i>Nice postcard Tom! Here's a new one, 1 more card needed for the set after this! >> Wow! Great Campy! That's a real tough one...congrats! I now have 16 autographed Great Moments (all PSA). And four new Hall of Famers for my V145-1 hockey set, which is finally nearing completion - or at least virtual completion since one of the cards, Bert Corbeau, is an insane rarity. A PSA 3 Frank Nighbor rookie. This PSA 3 King Clancy rookie was certainly the highlight of the invoice. I actually already had a Georges… -

I wanted to share a few of my recent pickups, but didn't want to start a new thread, hopefully this is an okay place to post. 1. Steve Gleason - 2004 Saints Team Issued 2. Kurt Warner - Zondervan card. I love this card, I'm not sure the genesis of it, but I believe it must've been printed to promote Kurt's book "All Things… -

It would be nice if the Astros would retire his number. He is still in the top 5 for many team pitching records. He won almost 90 games in 4 1/2 years he could have been great if not for the stroke. I met him a few times and he seems like a real nice guy. I am still on my quest to get all his cards in PSA 10, I have 14 so…
