Here is my newest pickup... My totals thus far are: 70 signed 16 being signed at shows (should have back in hand soon) 11 outstanding TTMs At the PA shown in Oct, I should be adding Larry Wilson and Don Maynard...so I should be near 100 assuming the TTMs are eventually returned signed. We'll see. Please PM me if anyone has… -
Re: SSPC 1975
I've been watching these for a few months. Observations: There seem to be an almost unlimited number of rookie/star cards available. Ryan, Rose,Yount, Brett, Eck, Rice, Carter, etc. But, in 6+ months of looking I've yet to find a Ted Simmons worth grading. As I write this there are 3 raw Ted Simmons on sportlots.com.… -
Re: June CC poppage
Damn $825 for a PSA 10 Worthy? DAMN! Nice sub! I hope I get a turnaround inside of 8 days. I have 4 subs there now. 3 raw gradings (23, 27 and 23 cards) and 1 graded review of 11 cards. All on the June special. Checked in to 6/22, 6/25 (those two arrived the same day, 6/20) and I have 2 that were delivered today, but not… -
Re: Anyone going to Parsippany tomorrow?
Actually did well for what I am collecting these days, Ireland and Palestine. Got some great early Irish pennies and half pennies, some keys, and a nice 5 mil 1927 Palestine coin. Bought 11 raw coins and plan to send most into the tpg Silver was selling for 12.5 x$1 btw and silver eagles were flying out of some of the… -
Re: 2011 W AGE Unc on backorder now! UPDATE: 1/17 SOLD OUT!!! 1/24: 8,822 sold

Bought for $780-804. So right now they increased about $500 in melt value alone. Right now, these Buchs are considered more of a… -
Re: vcp help...please
<< <i>I am thinking it will cost more then that. After the article ran in the SMR these blew up on EBAY. It may be short lived and I am no expert on these but I remember a BGS 8.5 going for like $2300 a few months ago. On Oct 30th a BGS 8.5 sold for $1,753. A raw copy sold for $635 on Oct 24th. >> Latest Auction Prices… -
Re: FINALLY completed my Lincoln set at the Houston Money show with this 09-SVDB! (and my 11-D also)! -
Looking at that 11 that you replaced... I just vomited a little in my mouth. Congratulations on completing the set... Ahhh, now what? Upgrades or a different set? If you don't mind, tell us a little about your set (Or is it registered so you can give us a link). Did you have a minimum grade/color etc? Are they all in PCGS… -
Re: Finally found a Holy Grail of sorts...
Scott- Have you looked at an 88 Score in BGS 9.5 and tried to cross it over? They can be picked up regularly for less than $15 - I got mine for around $11 and it's a solid 9, maybe an 11 or 12. I have one I'm going to send in with some other crossovers later on (in a month when nothing good catches my eye on eBay, ie… -
Re: Time to ask Longacre some questions!
I have always wanted to ask this question: Could the Slurpee Technician at 7-11 increase profitability by using his commodity channel index to establish a Slurpee ingredient hedge account by leveraging available materials from his vendors, thereby realizing an after-tax real rate of return on raw materials while… -
Re: Is PCGS going back to their old style slabs?
For what it's worth, I live in Gainesville and I think the mailing address they give almost surely is a UPS store, formally owned by friends of mine. As far as their "post office being closed from 3-11 to 3-20," the university here (the University of Florida) is on Spring Break from 3-11 to 3-19. So I suspect that this…
