<< <i>Your links proved my point. Nothing between 180-200 within the last month. >> Oh yeah, one was a whole $8 over that - in the last month. << <i>A 64 red in a PCGS holder is going between 275-300 right now. >> PCGS MS64RD - NO SALE at $280. PCGS MS64RD - NO SALE at $248. Both in the last month. Okay, now where are your… -
Re: 1945 Jefferson DDR FS-30 - Close up picture for those that care - warning large photo
<< <i>Cool picture. I picked up two MS sets of 38-64 Jeffersons yesterday and while looking through them today found a 1945 P reverse double die that looks exactly like the pictured example. Does anyone know what this double die nickel in say MS 63 or 64 would be valued at? >> Awesome find! I sold a PCGS MS64 example on… -
Re: Old copper people
Reynolds' website shows none in stock. Chris V. Mcawley shows one: 1809 S-280 R2 VF35 $4,500 Chocolate with problem free hard glossy surfaces. Virtually flawless. Shawn Yancey has one that is probably closer to what you are looking for, and very nice color: 1809 S280 Classic Head large cent, only variety for 1809, R2. This… -
Re: Franklin proofs - 1953 and 1954 - prices?
I have not bought any such proof sets recently, but I suspect that a raw 1954 set would run about $170-$180 and that a raw 1953 set would run about $280-$300. It has always been my experience that for these proofs sets from the 50's, the half comprises 60% of its value. Thus for a raw 54 half you could probably get one… -
Re: Modern Question... this is serious
I was just working on taxes last nite... I spent just over $2500 on grading fees to PCGS last year with about 90% being clad/mods. I've recouped um $870 on a Wisonsin Low Leaf MS66 $450 on a Wisconsin Low Leaf MS65 $336 on a 2003D Sacagawea MS67 $280 on a 2003D Sacagawea MS67 I could go on , but I have to go to Lincoln now… -
Re: Barry Larkin Hall of Famer????
<< <i> That's why I think the HOF needs to evolve, and realize that with over 100 years of history, it cannot believe that the greatness of the game, can come down to 280+ players & builders >> I'm with ya! I also think there are players out there currently left out that deserve to be recognized for being the good ball… -
Re: For the prospect lovers...Mike Stanton to debut Tuesday with the Marlins
they both technically had 4 years of minor league service...and coincidentally are only separated by 1 plate appearance. 1393 for Reynolds, 1392 for Stanton. Reynolds - .280/.360/.525 - 322 Ks Stanton - .274/.369//569 - 371 Ks Stanton played in more hitter friendly environs...while Reynolds played 1+ years in South Bend… -
Re: If I wanted to jump on the bullion bandwagon, is this a good price for common date Saints?
I can remember in the late 80's probably 87 I was selling Maple Leafs and Krugs at $480. Had a few buyers come in and buy 6 figures against my advice to buy monthly, oh no they protested Gold is going to take off, ever hear of inflation, its a good 5-10 year hold. Well ten years later we were buying it back from them at…
