<< <i>man Brent was right, most of the coin cards are redemptions. >>
Wonder why that is? I pulled my Robinson right out of a hobby pack last year. To add to my earlier post the read border cards are quite in quite poor shape compared to the rest of the cards. Any link to odd balls floating around? Like Jon Smoltz or anything like that?
That is weird, why would they need to do a redemption on a coin? I mean, why couldn't they make the coin card in time for release? I got two in a single box no redemption! i hope that wasn't my case hit.
Anyone else doing the image or color swaps? looks like they fall one every other box. Refractors are falling quite rare this year too. I don't have any idea how many if any i have of the color swaps. The image swaps are easy to spot (black & white photo in the main image)
Love the McCovey auto. Really nice, and my favorite player. I like the idea of redemption cards if it foils the pack searchers. Also, some of my packs had 10 and 11 cards in them, I like that too.

One possible reason could be to throw off pack searchers weighing a pack ????? Or How about even using a metal detector on a unopened case ?????? Anyone think that's possible ?

I don't quite get the Paul O'Neil or Edgar Martinez inclusion in this product. They're not current players, and they weren't around in '63. Seems odd for Heritage.

Are there any examples of the color swap cards? I haven't seen any yet.
I was analyzing the cost & odds on the retail I bought yesterday. It seems to me that the blasters are far & away the best deal as the odds are the same as regular retail but the blasters have the blue borders and they did not raise the price on them. The jumbo packs were in the middle price-wise plus the odds are slightly worse. I did not get any gravity feed so not sure how they would rate.

Color swaps:
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
Can somebody check the color swaps numbering on the back? Also, I grabbed 4 hanging racks and got 2 short prints. 5 gravity feeder packs and got 4 short prints.
I bought five blasters and 3 rack packs yesterday and I agree that the blasters were much better for me than the racks. There is a more detailed breakdown on my blog below (Ballcard Mania). This was easily my top hit:

I believe the image swaps are were the tiny circular B/W image in the bottom right, takes over the entire card and the color photo is inside the circle. The color swaps is where the panel where the player's name and team are written is flipped with the color of the circular background image on normal cards. For instance the regular Pujols has a blue panel and the inset photo has a red background. The color swap SP has a red panel and a blue background. While the image swaps should be fairly easy to spot - the main photo will be in Black and White, the color swaps will take a little more due dillegence to find.
We stopped after the 4th box. There was another photo swap in the 4th box, but nothing else of much note. Joe will rip the the rest of the case, plus 3 loose boxes later tonight with his brother.
I picked up a couple of blasters & a rack on the way home. Got the requisite number of SPs and a coupla inserts. I will use whatever I've got to swap for needed Dodgers.
For those that haven't seen, Walmart has last year's rack packs on sale for $2.98 (regular $4.98).

7 cases to complete one set? Good grief. Would these be considered SSPs or 1.5*SPs?
