Best wishes to you Bear. I always enjoy your posts and the insights you provided into building your collection. Thank you so much for sharing. You are missed!
We hope you haven’t wandered ATS to another stage!
You double-space most of your posts
So that those who read ‘em absorb the most.
I don’t know you that much, personally,
But I like your posts most abundantly.
They say that mimicry is the greatest compliment.
So I “ape” you dear old Bear with admiring confidence.
You and I remember a place called Camelot
And we both post here more than-a-lot!
Of all the bears I have read about
You’re the bear that most stands out.
You’re the bear with most renown
So please forgive an old coin clown!
Please get well soon Abe!
Cheers!
Kirk

Love you Bear.....your strength will back in no time. Thank God the beautiful Mrs. Bear is protecting the new cave from any bad guys!!! Rest well in Camelot!!!
If I could have half of your knowledge , all of your coins, a tenth of your humor, or a moment of your time; I'd take your time and give you a bear hug.
Bear - although you don't know who I am, I just wanted you to know I really enjoy reading your posts. Your posts always bring a smile to face no matter what kind of day I am having!
Best wishes to you, Mrs. Bear, and the Bear family! Ben

We exchanged a few posts and PMs. Wanted you to know that I enjoy your outlook and philosophy. I like what you did with coins and how you went about it. Wish you and your family the best.
I have never had the opportunity to converse with Bear but have watched from afar and been educated. I fully realize this Forum has a wide variety of individuals who offer a wide variety of things here. Bear is one who offers quite a lot. I have read many of his posts and been schooled.
I teach school. Quite often you never know what impact you will have on a student until years or decades later. Bear has had an impact on many of us.

I have always enjoyed reading your posts since I have joined.
Hi Bear - I'm another who's admired you from afar. Although we've never spoken, I've always enjoyed your posts, even those that got you into a little doo-doo! I also drool when I look at the collection you've put together, and thank you for the many smiles that have crossed my lips in the past few years. You're a wonderful human being, and the world is a better place because of you. If most people had half the class you do... well, we'd all be standing out in a field with Coca Cola singing... "I'd like to teach the world to sing..." The young cubs wouldn't know that song, would they?!
Hang in there Abe, there's a lot of love coming your way! Marlene

All my best to Bear and Mrs. Bear! I've always found your posts to be both wise and gentle. You know your stuff, and you have one heckuva nice collection!
Bear I hope that you are reading these posts and know that you had had an extremely positive influence on all of us with your wise, informative, and educational posts. To the forum members that helped with posting his estate collection, can one you repost his final version of the collection so we can all enjoy his awesome collection again? due to a lot of family drama I missed a few months on the boards and I'm not sure I had the pleasure of viewing the final outcome. I really enjoyed seeing the work in progress ,especially Bear's thoughts on what he chose and how he made his choices. thank you Bear!
Hope all is well with Bear and the family this is the link I have to enjoy abe's collection it is so much fun to go look at. Be well Enjoy Link to bears coins
Best wishes to you Bear. I hope you feel better quickly. There are a lot of other little bears out there that miss your posts. I hope a thing or two I have posted has made you as happy as all your posts have for me.
The message boards are not the same without you, bear.

The Bear is one of the few around this place that always seems to play nice. The man has always been upbeat and cheerful in his knowlegeable post. Of course there have been a few post where he came out of hibernation a day or 2 early over the years.

I met Abe. He, his wife and I had breakfast just before a Long Beach Show. He is a true gentleman, and is even more good-natured and upbeat in person than on these forums. You are right; this place is just not the same without him. Think positive thoughts, and let him know about them. If he's checking in with us, it will put a smile on his face.
