Maybe a smile is due during this sad moment. As an anecdote, I'm sort of new to any forums, this being the only one in which I really participate. All the acronyms, texting shorthand, etc. that I've encountered, I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what IGWT meant. Now I need to pass on my condolences to IGWT's family. May he rest in His peace.
This is terrible. I just glanced at this forum and never wanted to see something like this. Lou was a good guy. He and I often would exchange right hooks here, but to no one's knowledge it was all in jest as we'd be PMing during it. We met at most shows and always looked at each others stuff, joked around and had a good friendship.

I have been off the message boards for a long time, as I have put numismatics on hold to pursue a new family business for the past few years. I was excited to come back, but this news is like running into a brick wall. Lou was a great guy, as honest as they and as caring and giving as one could ever wish for in a friend. I always assumed that when I came back, everything would be the same. I was horribly wrong and deeply saddened by this loss, both for myself and for numismatics as a whole. There are VERY VERY few who could match up to Lou. My belated thoughts and prayers go out to Lou's family.
