Ebay was nuts last night. People were paying way over spot on 90% and .999 all night long.

I don't get it...Why the buying frenzy last night and today? Were these Ebay transactions out of the norm?
What happened with ETF volumes.

Just trying to pinpoint this latest trigger.

Seems something sparked the buying frenzy at these new highs, why would people wait for highs to induce buying.

I don't know other than the eBay Bucks Cert's came out.

Who knows, maybe the Fed's ordered another printing press - a super high volumn one this time!!!

Me and my son were shooting this Browning Pro-40 (which is the Browning version of the FNP 40, as FNP owns Browning) + a Springfield Armory .40 cal XDm w/ 3.8" Barrel (not the new compact) + a Smith and Wesson M&P AR15 5.56mm (.223) w/ S&W factory installed Adams Arms Piston System.

I am actually only buying brass-cased NATO spec 5.56mm ammo not the .223 ;> While the NATO spec 5.56mm costs a bit more Silver coin, the steel-cased .223 crap fails to extract in each of my 3 piston rifiles(!) about every 4-5 rounds.

Ended up selling some 90% at $38.48 today.

$20 was the only real "hurtle" along the way. $30 went down pretty easy. $40 apparently is going down just as easy but there will be at least a brief struggle there.
Next real "absolute" resistance point is the all time high from January 1980. That will probably prove to be almost as stubborn as the $20 level. We shall see.

I was just discussing this with fellow coworkers this morning. I predict a steady climb to near $50 by early summer.....then a "correction" down to $42-$44 shortly after.....followed by a lull at that level for remainder of summer, then a steady climb past $50 in early-mid fall. Im calling a 2011 top at $55.....and a 2011 close right in that neighborhood.

That sounds perfectly reasonable. There will be corrections along the way, with a big one at the great psychological massif of $50, but I am not selling.

I sold some of my eagles off and replaced them with 5 ounce ATB's so I am still at the same level of ounces but with 125 ounces of ATM's

instead of all eagles. I took some profit and own the ATB's at way less than melt.

Sometimes my fingers get in the way of my brain its not atm's its atb's.
