    I don't know this member's previous dealings

but must say that THIS LISTING seems
to be much more up front about the coin than previous seen.

I hope he CAN turn this all around, for his sake. image

His feedback profile, while numerically good, is rather disturbing when the two BIG HUGE NEGS are right there as soon as you open it.

    Denny21,

are you really wanting to sell your 3 legger, or just testing the market ?

I think PMS (the restoration arm of PMG) can get that cast off, and make your 3 legger look even better

although I must admit, it now is one of the best I have ever seen the way it is

and there will always be a demand for high quality collectibles

Anyone know what grade NGC assigned to this coin?

Apparently I missed this within the thread.

Is it AU 58 as mentioned in the title?

If it is NGC AU 58 & is still in the slab, why not just auction
it as it is (was)? I would think it would bring better money
if still in the slab as opposed to raw.

BNB - is it still in the slab?

    Thanx.

<< <i>Check out the bid history of the bidders in the notorious auction. The first few bidders had 33%, 25%, and 20% bidding activity with this seller, respectively. I always thought that high percentages like that were a strong indication of shill activity. Is my thinking right in this regard? >>

This particular situation notwithstanding, you need more information than just that percentage. I have a current bidder in one of my auctions who shows 39% bidding activity in my auctions and I guarantee you he is no shill- I just cashed two of his checks this afternoon. As a general rule, before you accuse someone of being a shill, you might want to be sure you have all your ducks in a row.

I am speaking from memory, but I believe that is his 3 legger before NCS worked on it a little bit to try and remove the finger print, but could not so fully. I know that it was put in a new NGC holder with the prongs.

BNB, these are your own words. Now, is the coin still in the NGC AU 58 slab or are you guilty
of the very thing you went off about within the context of your own previous thread?
    ***************************************************************************************************************

<< I'm still not(will never be) convinced that a key date coin sold raw in higher grade is a good gamble..

But, some of you may think otherwise and I accept the reasoning for both sides..

My theory is, "If it's raw, high grade, and key date", why not slab it? A lot of these dealers with large feedback scores surely know what TPGs are.. and I'm sure they have ways to get things submitted.

It's a way of mitigating risk.

    bnb >>

    *Edit - spelling*
You're contradicting yourself. Again I'll say that you would have been much better off leaving the coin in the slab
and NOT initially misrepresenting it as raw GEM BU.

Because too many raw coins turn out to be altered, problems, or just plain worse than their pictures..

I see so many eBay auctions of raw key date coins and semi keys selling for more.. I shake my head when I see this happening.

I mean, how can people not realize this?

    Same thing goes for notes..

    Looks like he was right!!image

Does this kid know how to write and think clearly?

"This picture is an accurate representation of the coin in which you will receive."

There's a superfluous preposition in this sentence.

    "Remember, when you buy BNB"

    There's a preposition missing here.

His About Me page is also horribly written.

Ok, I didn't follow exactly what this person did. Idk if he is just a mis-guided person or a smart person trying to scam others. I know that everyone had good intentions about warning others and that's fine. But someone should but a stop to this. It IS bordering on harassment and against the forum rules. I don't know this person nor am I sticking up for him. But, there COULD be some fallout of some sort for the rest of us and I'd hate to see some people go poof or get a time out for joining in "the fun". So please just let this drop and go on like nothing happened.
