I believe the mods are letting it run because the central issue is still an auction running on ebay for a coin that we know the history of and the auction does not disclose it all the while attempting to be misleading, even with all of us watching. --Jerry
Can I ask the moderators why it shows that BNBAnalytics is online right now? It did not show it earlier on the Who's On. I do not understand this. Thanks.
The central point of this thread is that he cracked out his NGC AU-58 3 legger and posted it raw on Ebay with a "**Gem BU**" title and then relisted it without that description from what I believe is from the efforts of the good people on this forum. He also signed up as SD4000 with the grim reaper avatar taunting about knowing all kind of nonsense about watch counts on Ebay and denied that it was him. He has been kicked off and wrecked havoc on other public forums and runs a YouTube channel with nothing but videos if himself. This guy wants publicity and we are helping to fuel his ego. However, I strongly feel that as many people should know about his 3 legger Ebay auction and this thread at the top can help with that. BNB Analytics posts words and videos in open forums. He knows very well the attention he stirs and is thriving on it. Look at his many YouTube shock type rants. I do not feel sorry for him because all he has to do is walk away. This is my honest opinion and I really feel bad if we have someone in our great numismatic community giving it a bad name by potentially poor dealings on the BST or Ebay.

I agree he screwed up. I am just saying that after seeing his videos that I think he is harmless (as a person,) and that I sincerely hope he learned from this and I feel sorry that he feels that he was ganged up on... again, he brought it on I know, but still I got that "feeling," ya know?
<< <i>I most certainly hope he has learned from all of this too. >>
I hope I am not wrong but I think he has. I am sure he has a good heart, but his mind got greedy and he got the whistle blown on him. Deceiving people is not ok and I think he learned his lesson.
Don't...remember, he THINKS he's an actor (remember the Academy Award winning movie 2.0, where he starred as 'electronic store cashier'? Oh, wait, it is still in post-production, for a year now) and he's just looking for sympathy, something he WON'T be giving the winner once he gets paid for that now raw 3 legged buffalo, which he WON'T post new, current images of. He claims his vids are for entertainment? Don't think so. He's as serious as a heart attack. Don't give him an inch.
He also claims the new rules of harrasment are out the window....I guess getting bammed for telling the posters to his last thread that, and I quote, "You are all a bunch of raging .......", means the rules are not in effect. You all know how that sentence ended. Anyone giving him ANY sympathy is playing right into his hands.
I agree Chris. Although I admit I found quite a bit of humor in his videos and postings, I find all of those to be just words. What I found to be a real action was his initial Ebay listing, and I still have issues with the current one running. He mentioned in his latest video his 7 day return policy, that's a good thing for him to mention and have posted on his listing. Certainly every one of us as a buyer on Ebay are resonsible too for inquiring and making the most informed purchase we can so hopefully, that works out in the end.

I doubt he's learned from this. He seems to be pulling the same bs again and again, having offended people on different message boards (from coins to law to day trading) with his tirades and arrogance. Hey, we've all made mistakes and done stupid things. And when you're starting out in something, there's a learning curve. You can approach that with humility or you can be an obnoxious jerk. Frankly, a lot of people found his "get rich quick" approach to coins and currency insulting. On the internet, it's hard to remain anonymous, particularly when you use the same business name everywhere. Jarett could have changed his handles a while back or deleted his youtube videos but he didn't. In his pursuit of making big bucks and becoming famous, he seems to have this crazy habit of getting in people's faces. That stuff is out there and that's what people have been referencing when questioning his character. He could have moved on, changed his Buffalo coin eBay listing right off or just ignored us. He didn't. He decided to argue with everyone and insult people's intelligence. Now he's playing the victim. Well, I'm not buying it. And I wouldn't trust a seller who engages in the kinds of self-promotion and trolling that he does (here and here and here and here and here and he starts his own fan clubs here and here ).
There is a lot of shady stuff happening online. People are always trying to reinvent themselves or impress you. One of the things I love about these boards is that collectively we point out the frauds and scams out there. I think this whole thing is a great example of how you can take things too far and end up looking like a fool on the internet.

Amen! Those offering up sympathy fail to realize that he has never shown any remorse despite being kicked off...what?....5 message boards, and fraudulently representing a $1500 coin as a $30,000 coin. Thread? No, no, threads, upon threads, upon threads. He did the same thing there, after people got on him, he tried to make everyone feel bad, and eventually showed his true colors, cursed out all the mods and members, made like 20 different accounts, like a big baby.
Anyone who feels bad for him, don't. That's exactly what he want's, he got what he deserved.
The feel bad part is the regret of viewing this as the townfolks coming out with pitchforks and torches to kill the monster. I agree with the live and learn, but he apparently is using little of the advice given. I also agree that misrepresentation like was done in that first auction is very serious. I wouldn't call his action there harmless despite no harm happening. Harm was avoided by the actions of people here. However, this is not a montser that can never change. Remorse and change can still happen, although I do agree that little has happened so far.
BNB... you might can try to sell the world that the coin is BU, but when a judge considers that NGC called it AU58 and they have decades of experience and you say it could be called BU with your one year of experience... well... you're going to lose horribly... again. Your actions have progress into very serious with that one. You can still turn yourself around, though. Man up, you'll feel better about yourself and your future if you do.
But even if he is what most people seem to say he is, the things people have said to him have been pretty harsh and maybe that caused the YouTube video. The treatment he's had would make most people do things to the extent of what he did. He did and has made mistakes but he seems to be slowly going down the path to making amends.
<< <i>Somewhere....there is a USMC DI who would love *** LOVE*** to have a go at him.

He didn't make a mistake. He made a misrepresentation, almost certainly a knowing and calculated misrepresentation.
I'm running XP Home and IE8 and for weeks (that I can remember) I was able to close all IE8 instances and power off, then power back up and open a new IE8 and still be logged onto the forums. I could post without having to enter my login info or even need to visit the login screen. However, for some reason, that is not happening today.

Hoard the keys.
<< <i>Somewhere....there is a USMC DI who would love *** LOVE*** to have a go at him.
You know with his energy, high self image, and desire to succeed that might work out very well. The DI would show him a way to succeed with nothing but honest hard work. --Jerry
<< <i>He made a mistake in the first listing description, then corrected & re listed it. If you still don't like his auction, then move on... Their are plenty of others that are interested in the coin.
He didn't make a mistake. He made a misrepresentation, almost certainly a knowing and calculated misrepresentation.

Orionmachine busting on BNB >>
Good good what a delusional goon (BNB). Reminds me of the long haired dude in "Clerks" -- I wonder which 7-11 he works at in Santa Monica.
In fifteen years.....ol BNB could be that DI!!!! (or engaged in fierce hand to hand combat with Osama Bin Laden)
