I recently acquired 40,000 commons, semi-stars and minor rc's from 1981-1987 all 3 manufacturers 2000+ per year. Been trying to put in number order and pick the best 2 of each for my sets I'm trying to build.

do you have a photo imaging software by chance bro?

your images need to be a little smaller to truly appreciate those mini's.

great cards included: hegan, hendrick, claudell (the grail card of the set), hargrove, singleton (only 2 9's exist), borbon (NEVER see on ebay), johnson (NEVER see on ebay) & tanana (NEVER see on e-bay), all with very nice centering yo!

big ups to you on your 75 mini endeavors,
but hard to enjoy them w/ images to big yo.

Sorry about that, I guess. I scan two at a time and just thought people would appreciate a bigger scan. Photobucket changed their format that used to let you change the size, maybe it's there and I haven't found it yet. I'll do three cards at a time next time and see how that looks. Thanks for the suggestion.

According to his stats his was 40 years old that year and he hit 26 homeruns in '57. Not bad for a old guy.

Assorted Mays cards, the Bowman has a rubber band crease right through the middle but I got it at a Flea Market way back when for $1 along with a Campy with the same crease. Not the top of the line in condition but all in my collection non the less. The '71 seems short to me, I haven't sent it in but I'm a little worried about it. What do you guys think? Take care. Doug

Very good, Michael. You are on the right track. Each card features a player who has a '72 IA card. Now what separates these from the other IA cards?

I think they all have In Action Cards in 1972 and they are all from the last two series in 1972

Steve, only Griffin and Foli count for their respective cards. Note that in my response to Michael's guess I said, "each card features a player who has a '72 IA card." Of course, two of the cards also feature a player who does not. It's all in the wording.

Now, just dig a little deeper with respect to the IA cards and you'll find the answer.

Brett you've stumped us again. Beautiful cards from you as usual. I may have posted some of these '63s before, I have a clean run of about 100 cards like these so I picked some with the tough green and red bottom that are hard to find without nicks. Take care. Doug

Thanks for the nice comments about the '63s guys. I'm going to break a rule here by posting graded cards but to only prove a point. Italianstallionyankee asked if I had any from the group shown earlier graded, and the answer is "yes". My scanner of graded cards doesn't do these cards justice but they are close to the other raws from earlier. These were graded before the half point system was brought in and I believe some of them could easily be bumped at least a .5 IMO. Here's my point about why I keep most of my collection raw. After taking the time and money to submit the first time around, why would I crack out these cards and go through that again? Money is tight for many including me, and I'd rather spend what little I have on raw cards than having my current collection graded. Graded cards are great especially if one was to sell ,but I think having a raw collection is no less important. Just a thought. Doug

amazing 63s.... man

bottom right corner has ding,
but centering and rest of this card are super tight.
gibson is pretty tough card to find w/ true centering.

this was my 1st raw card buy on ebay in a moment.

this page is very bandwidth intensive btw,
downstairs takes much longer to load...

just noticed 71s couple of clicks up,
i would be nervous even scanning those cards for fear of damaging cards.... ;>

Hi Doug, The raw cards Imo will grade nm/mt to mint ,might get a 10! For me I would be to scared to keep the cards raw because over the years they could possible be damaged. Hopefully we can get another $4.25 special and maybe you will jump on the train and sub some of those beauties!
