Capped Bust Quarters, MEGA THREAD?!

Im not sure this will work, but I think we should give it a try. We seem to have enough capped bust quarter collectors that it would be possible. Just post the next variety, by numeric sequence if you have it.

1. Keep it in order. Start with B-1, B-2...etc. When the date runs out of varieties, go on to the next date. No entries for different die states.
2. You have to post a pic.
3. You have to own the coin.
4. If the variety isn't found in 24 hours, skip it...or post one that isn't owned by a forumite. Please make sure you have the right to post the pic, and give credit when applicable.
5. Only Circulation strikes...but if someone wants to post an 1827, so be it!

I will start it off by posting the first two.

Wrong Browning # and wrong grade, an easy Vf coin here.

I would say VF-35, although it might have garnered a 40.

I know that coin very well...Sure wish I would have bought that one earlier this year when it was only a Fine...

However we are working on 1818 right now, not the early draped quarters, so I cry foul!

Lets try to keep them in order. You guys are doing fantastic, I was hoping to post a few more 1818'S but I snoozed....On to the 1819!!!! BTW I don't have the B-1, but I have a B-2 waiting.

I was going to call the B-8 a VF-25 max.
I'm slightly surprised it graded just F-15

I am not surprised that NGC got the grade wrong on your B-8, they also got the attribution wrong...

A few weeks ago I took some heat when I said I think NGC was a bit tighter on F-VF bust coins. Anyway, Ive got the 1820 B3 and B4 when we need it. Im going to turn in for the night. See ya

The finest known is an MS-67 that last sold in 2006 for 80K+...
