You may have a point there. LOL And considering I just had a CT scan this week that will cost me several thousand dollars I'm thinking a case of cards (or two) would be a bad idea.

I had a visit from my UPS man this AM with not 1 (which I ordered) but 2 blaster cases. This is part of my order. I opened 3 blaster boxes and got my 1st Extinct (after an entire hobby case) , another Robbie Maddison auto, and a Jed lowrie Bazooka back (good for the Sox collection).

Interestingly I got 23 base SP's in 24 packs.
11 reg. minis
3 blacks inc. 1 SP
5 AG inc. 1 SP
1 hoax
2 NH
2 codes inc. Lowrie

Not bad for 3 blasters, will rip more later.

Ok, 5 more blasters had 36 base SP's from 40 packs so the ratio is much better than in hobby.

Were those from Lockwood? He has stopped returning my emails and I tried to call him today and someone else answered the phone and said he was away for the weekend. Considering I bought enough cases to have them dropshipped to me directly from the distributor (about 20 miles from me), I should have received my cases probably before even Lockwood got the rest of his order. I am officially beginning to worry. This is now the third year in a row something like this has happened.

Bought two more blasters today, still trying to figure this out.

I got 9 cards numbered over 300, so I've figured they are SP's.
2 minis numbered over 300
2 black bordered minis
4 A&G back minis
1 NNO mini #'d to 50

A game used card of Jermaine Dye. But still confused as to the rarity or value of some of the other minis.

The countries, extinct animal, hoodwinks, etc.

Don't know what I'm looking for, but will still be buying more.

301-350 are all SP.

The /50 mini is a tough pull. Congrats

The Creatures of Myth and Terror seem to sell well (~$5 each)

The Extinct Animals and Future Inventions are really tough pulls and seem to sell around $15.

Shawn, the extinct animals & future inventions are the toughest mini subsets. The Bazooka backs & NNO backs are real good to get with Bazooka about 3-4 times tougher.

The Lowrie NNO is one I'd be interested in for any of my trade material which will be posted any day now.

Knopfler (Chris?) I'm not real worried about Lockwood as he never even requested the 2nd half of my payment before sending these cases. I do know they are trying to sell/clean out the warehouse so perhaps that's taking a great deal of time. Also there may be problems with his distributor.

I know some of you guys take the relics out of the frames for your collection, are any of you doing that with the autos as well? If you are let me know as I would like the frames, I thought I'd make up some cardinals minis to get signed ttm and then seal them up in the frames to go with my set.

I think you were right Dave, something was wrong. I was logged in on my computer and everything looked good. I was playing some poker on my wife's computer and opened the thread, and none of my stuff was on.

I logged out of my account and back in and it all seems good now. I don't know what happened. I know I didn't turn my PM's off, as my profile showed they were on.

Maybe Carol is trying to hi jack my A&G trading!

Anyway, it should be back on now, we've traded heritage in the past.

Now back to the topic, sorry to derail.

i thought i got mine at BCW last year but they don't have them. DAcardworld doesn't seem to have them either. eBay has plenty though.

so, i've sold enough of my ginter cards that i have a cash reserve of enough to get a blaster case... but, should i try to sell a little more to get a full retail case? or say screw it and call the pack opening done for this year? OR sell some more crap and get another hobby case? i just crunched the numbers and the "hits" out the hobby case don't seem to make up for the price difference between retail... i'm new to the idea of buying a case of retail though so am i missing something?

Just wanted to confirm that you said you received retail from Lockwood. I must be bad luck or something because I have ordered from SVU18 and got burned, then from LR Cards and got burned, and now I am wondering what the hold up is with Lockwood.

Anyone else out there order from Lockwood and not received theirs yet?

Craig, I did get them from Lockwood. It was not my whole order and it was not correct but he didn't ask for the other 1/2 of my payment either. I also had ordered from SVU & LR, got my money back from SVU and was warned off LR by being late this past year.

Perhaps Lockwood has personal issues. I certainly haven't given up on him.
