I finally broke down and checked out the Target down the street and purchased the 3 blaster boxes they had. Nothing spectacular, but no complaints! I actually needed 1 of the 3 code parallels I pulled...so now I'm down to only 10 more on my need list!

I was on the fence, but decided to jump in again this year and buy a hobby case. I opened eleven of the twelve boxes last night. I had some nice hits, but the star power on the hits was kind of low. Lots of fun though!!

Krems, I'd say that's a pretty successful case. Five inks, two bazookas, three NNOs, a rip and a 1/1 wood is doing pretty well. If you decide to rip that Furcal, I'd be interested in it once you pull whatever's inside.

edit: duh, the wood came out of the Furcal rip, right? Let me know if you'd like to find a home for it.

Has anyone else opened a box where the quality control was just horrible?

1 of the 4 hobby boxes I just opened was aweful all the way through with bends, folds, chipping, and creases on most of the cards.

Actually thinking of calling Topps to vent my anger and then mailing them the pile of crap that was in the box.

I did open a pack with a Black Border Mini that was out of place in the pack, on top of all the other cards, and it had a very bad dinged corner. It's almost as though they throw the "drops" in with random packs.
