Same set I am working on now but I would go for uncs as opposed to xf-au. And I might actually be able to finish it in less than a lifetime. CBH by overton variety including die states
  • I'd complete my Morgan Collection, then a nice Double Eagle & Eagle set, and a Bush halves set for sure.

Nice compliment to the bust half set

Peace Dollars are the most beautiful American Coin IMHO. Money is an object in my case so I currently only have about 12 of them, all PCGS of course image .

My 1921 is only an MS62 ( with green bean image ). If money was no object, that Coin would be a much better specimen, probably a very high grade Matte Proof.

And of course, my ultimate dream Coins are the 1793 Chain Cent, the 1794 Flowing Hair Dollar, the 1907 Wire Rim $10 Indian and the 1915 $50 Pan-Pacific, both round and octagonal versions. image

Now if only the Smithsonian could put out those Coins for my viewing pleasure on June 12th, I'd be so very happy.

Money being no object, I'd go with st. gaudens with the 1907 UHR and the 1933. image

But, I image proof liberty nickels so I would try to collect all in DCAM.

I'd extend my British penny collection back from 1860 to 1797 and upgrade
it to chUnc. I'd also like to collect bust halfs in solid unc.

    Gold, really TDN?

I'd prolly go for early proofs (1830's and 1840's).
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

Probably high grade early gold, especially some of those Cameo Proofs which, while I don't usually like proofs, are mindblowingly beautiful.

The last three coins I need to finish my type set:

1796-7 Draped Bust Small Eagle half dollar

    1796 No Stars quarter eagle

1829-34 Reduced Diameter Capped Bust $5 gold

As you can see, with that list, money is a problem.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

If money weren't a hinderance, I probably wouldn't collect coins. It's one of the few hobbies that gives me back the same thing I spend to get.
