It's funny once a guy like RYK with 25k posts gets involved the herd follows....
Anything he says goes.
What's Russypooh's post count up to these days 60,000? I havent seen him here in ages.
Like I said in my original post I just want opinions not to get bashed on this is why I've been a lurker reading and learing on how you guys think and operate all these years.

I guess she only posts here when she screws up and needs support from the peanut gallery.
I do know I got in the middle of something between him and Laura and I stuck up for Laura.
I may have stuck up for Laura, too, but since you have been here all along, you would probably know that.
At this point in the thread I'm just going to have a little fun.
Same here:
"We follow ALL ANA guidelines. Our policy as professional numismatists, has and will always be..... We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. "
The ANA guidelines require an unconditional return privilege. You have violated this policy.
Your buyer was not 100$ satisfied, and this is how you treat him?
Your feedback response: "Got exactly the coin as advertised watch this one he's a lawyer & will scam you!"
That's not how a reputable seller treats a neg. That kind of retort is for lowlifes. Sorry, at this point, I am not sure who the scammer is in the scenario.
If you had something I wanted and the price was right, I'd buy from you in a second! I don;t know why RYK would make such a statement. After all, this was a BIN with two offers made. Granted, your terms are a little iffy but its not the first time I;ve seen no returns on slabbed coins.
As for Russ, he rarely posts anymore as he's fairly busy with his business. But then, thats just my opinion as I don' really know why he doesn't post that much anymore.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Actually, it is quite simple. Some folks were willing to take your story at face value. Some wanted to delve a little deeper than you would have liked. IIRC, fc and MikeinFL were the first two to put some doubt in your story. I added some, notwilight added some, etc. The regulars here have seen this song and dance from the likes of you numerous times over the years. It's nothing new.
Tread very carefully when using that word with me.
Find something better to call me.
I will not simply give you or anyone a refund just because or buyers remorse.
Now if I misrepresented the coin no problem in my many years of doing this I’ve only had to refund money on a coin.
One out of many thousands of transactions minded.
eBay is not the only place I sell.
Some people simply do not respect my refund policy.
It was made by my father before me and there’s absolutely no reason to change it however I will make a couple of minor adjustments next month if I decide to stick it out with eBay.
I will not accept paypal on any coin period we’ve been burned too many times to deal with crooks.
If this guy was nice about it and returned the coin within 3 days not alert me nearly a month later that there’s NO W on the title maybe I might have been nice but the way he came off please.
I don’t think even YOU RYK would go that far considering the time frame and attitude.
I’m sticking to my guns on this one guys if you don’t buy from me that’s find others will and trust me they will.
Like a few guys have stated 1 transaction that’s gone bad not due to my own fault out of the thousands that I’ve done and the many many thousands my father and brother did before me isn’t going to hurt me, my reputation nor my business.
All I wanted simple opinions that’s all.
And……. NOT THE HERD MENTALITY that I’ve been reading all these years.
Maybe I should have A) simply taken a poll on the issue since this sort of thing has never happened to me or my company in the past or SIMPLY KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT.
Now I know what you “some” of you guys are about and probably won’t post another thing but I’ll be watching….
Excuse me while I step aside. Don't want to get dirt on my new shoes.

You asked for advice and opinions, you have received several replies, yet instead of discussing what has been suggested you choose to get in a pissing contest with members here, sounds like you no longer care about the original topic. If that is the case refund the guy the money and move on or hire a lawyer. I'll remember not to bother with your post in the future.

Instead of splitting hairs and parsing phrases to the Nth degree, can we take a step backwards and simply take a common sense view of the listing?
Reading the listing and viewing the pictures within the listing, would any person REASONABLY assume they were getting a 2002 MS rather than a 2002-W proof?
Absolutely not.
Some of the hair-splitters are in effect claiming that the lack of the letter "W" in the title invalidates or overrules both the listing description and the pictures. Say what? That is utterly inane.
OP, your listing is fine. Your auction terms are fine.
My initial gut reaction is: buyer's remorse trying to find a way out.
Would I trim down your boilerplate verbage? Yes, but that's a personal preference. As a buyer I hate wading through paragraphs and paragraphs of BLAHLAHBLAH when a few short sentences will suffice. In my experience as a seller, if you can say it with as much brevity as possible, the better it looks to the buyer (assuming you cover all the bases). >>

Didn't read every post, but I can't imagine any reason not to offer a 100% no questions asked return policy... If someone paid X for the coin, someone else likely will too. If the buyer isn't happy for ANY reason, refund!!!! coins don't always look the same in hand and anytime I buy online, I want a 100% no questions asked return policy, regardless of what a third party grader says about the coin.
From the recent replies that I've read, it seems like the OP is attacking those that disagree with her position, so I'm bracing myself

Typical message board problem- it's not clear from the outset that when somebody asks for opinions, they don't necessarily want opinions they don't agree with.
