I don't really see anything off on the half cent, it looks very attractive too. Wish PCGS would give a little more reason for the body bag without having to pay and extra $20 for grader comments.
I've looked at a fair amount of Classic Half Cents in Unc. I'd agree on MS 64 BN re the grade and color (there are a series of small contact marks on Miss Liberty's face). However, the color doesn't look right; it's too uniform and glossy; which to me appear unnatural. That could explain a body bag. Bet someone put Blue Ribbon or something like that on to the surfaces to get that look.
That being said, I've seen some old copper that was obviouly Blue Ribboned which was slabbed. Having a pedigreed coin seems to help in these matters......

Good call. Was there a specific reason, or just a guess?
That's an attractive Grant.

Nice collection of coins there, Lee. Hope that the slab factory is good to you.
If you ever should decided to part with the roosies, well, just let me know.
Congrats on the grades, Lee. Don't want to say that I told you so about the Grant but I did tell you so
Shame about the 1833 copper piece, looks good to me!
