I only submit coins for grading a few times a year. This group is headed to PCGS today. I'm all about Eye Appeal and for the most part, the grade is immaterial. I feel a coin with Eye Appeal will sell itself, regardless the grade. Here is what I'm submitting and what I think they will grade. I'll update the post when the grades arrive. Looking forward to some thoughts and opionions.

Your grading seems to be accurate, if not a tad conservative. I hope you get a few higher grades from PCGS.

Then what is the reason for spending the money to have them graded?

Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
Best of luck on the grades.

Hope they all come back with the grades you're hoping for.
good luck with the 1/2 cent and Grant commemorative, though
I like most all of them aesthetically. There are a couple that I am still undecided on.

Love the even color on that 1/2 Cent . . .NICE!
Also from the pic it looks like the D-Frankie may FBL at PCGS. Nice coins, I like them all.

<< <i>I'm glad no happy talk is allowed.
i also thought some coins with finger prints where not really worthy like the 57D.
grading costs more then the coin.

I do know for a fact the coins I have purchased from Lee exceeded his stated grade. I purchased a 1880 IHC from Lee which was cracked out, but he included the ANACS grade which was 63. I had my free submissions and looking at the coin, in hand, I thought it had a chance of upgrading. It came back a PCGS MS64RB. That much I do know.
Nice collection of coins there, Lee. Hope that the slab factory is good to you.
If you ever should decided to part with the roosies, well, just let me know.

Appreciate it!!
<< <i>The 57P Roosie could 66 but I do not think the 57D will. Those hits on the neck are very obvious. Hope it does though for you.

Good point Ken. I noticed that too and was going to say 65, but was feeling lucky.

those coins are way freakin more enjoyable as they are then they will be in plastic. they do'nt make em like that anymore, but you can be they'll be making cheap plastic holders for years to come.
personally, i think it's a shame to break up a wonderful old original set, but hey, it's your coins.

Dave, I knew there was a reason I liked you.
and Leo, that is the coin I'm sending in.
I love his passion for commemoratives, and I know this is his personal Grant that he cherishes!!!!
Best wishes on bumping this toned gem classic to a PCGS MS64, Lee!!!!!!
