But it took 2 days after delivery "attempt" to get into sysytem. >>
Mine also took two days to get into the system, the USPS showed delivered the morning of the 31st, got emailed and updated to received last night by PCGS (the 2nd of April) before it was entered into the system. This is the Quarterly special and an economy submission.
<< <i>They received my coins on 3/14, got my grades today. Economy service. >>
There seems to be a glimmer of hope. >>
Yeah, I'm actually surprised I got the grades so "soon", lol. >>
no offense intended, but you suck!
Today is business day 19 on a collector's club submission. Maybe they were bewildered by my audacity to send in total pieces of crap expecting them to grade the coins?

I'm wondering if it matters what type of coins you send in... Mine were all Morgans.

The quarterly submission on my order was also posted last night, coin logged in on the 2nd. Still awaiting the economy submission results logged in the same day.
I was just starting to post a new thread "Anyone aware of any PCGS problems in turnaround?" when this thread came back.
Many of you have gotten your economy submissions back that were received AFTER mine (3/6) . . . mine was mailed 2/29 Registered and not "received" until 3/6. I'll blame that one on the USPS (???)
But it's now 4/16 . . . 30 days after being "received". I wonder if they are taking longer because they are 'classics' . . . I sent in around 13 of my better (VF-AU) Indian Cents. Maybe they take longer if they are 'real' coins in 'tweener' grades???

I'd be carful around here what you call real coins.
I would assume that there are graders reserved for different coins. Could be the ones who handle Indian cents are backlogged vs. those who sent in modern coins went to a larger number of available graders.
Mine was sent in as crossover which I am assuming is another set of delays.
Little disappointed. This was 10 crossovers. The ones I thought would downgrade crossed and the ones that I thought would cross did not or got picked for altered surfaces.
I received a 3-12 economy today in the mail. Still have 2 outstanding from the same time. One is in transit and another is still ungraded. Funny thing is I am still awaiting anything from NGC for some So-called dollars I sent in around the same time. I always thought PCGS was the slower service

20-30 business days sure seems like a long time, you think they are hiring for any positions. Maybe a small one just to get the ball rolling.

They may have mixed up my economy / regular submissions received on 3/11!!
For "regular" service, (15 days):
Put in the system on 4/7, got the grades 4/15. On there way back in a day or two.
With 15 days to work with, it could have taken til 4/25.
My previous "modern" submission, pretty much took the entire 30 days. That was about a month ago. Maybe they are catching up..

You are right. A bit tongue-in-cheek !! :-)
Wondered if anyone would catch that. But you are right . . I would presume different graders for traditionals . .
