I actually saw this guys videos along with Knopflers video from last year's heritage describing the difference between the Nick Swisher SPs. I recommend them to all - just go to Youtube and do a search for Topps Heritage and a few videos will pop up.

Stopped by WalMart on the way home from work. No blasters, but there were two rows of those $2.97 blisters. Picked the first five from each row. Nothing much of note until pack 9.
Also pulled three SPs and the requisite number of black backs and inserts. Might have pulled a semi-SP or two, haven't checked. Got my first Perez, Prince Fielder.
When you check my username "VeniVidiRitchie" on Youtube, you'll find my 38 videos, it break was great fun and I think I did not bad and was only ONE card short of the Master Set!

Thanks again for all the help I've gotten so far. Putting this Heritage set together has been the most fun I've had collecting in some time.
Thanks to a final flurry of trading and a couple of generous gifts, I think I'm officially complete for my main sets this year. That doesn't mean I'm finished trading of course, but I thought I'd pause to comment about the great Heritage community we have here. So far this year I've made 24 trades with 19 different people! Assuming the few that are in progress follow course, every single one of them will have gone off without a hitch - speedy shipping and safe packaging throughout. I'm still hoping to manage another trade or two, mainly for specific players - my lists are upthread a bit.
I know there are a fair number of negative posts on this board, but when I say that trading is the best part of Heritage and Allen & Ginter season for me, I really mean it. Someone may have already asked about this, but where is Miguel Tejada in this set ?? Is it that he has pending legal struggles, and they replaced him at the last minute with Joe Girardi ??
Tejeda is in the Clubhouse Collection. Giardi was supposed to be the Yankee team card in one of the early checklist. I think the guy that was a double, Owens, one of them might have been Miguel.
For anyone shipping a 655 card master set, you will need a 550 count box and a 400 count box. If you put the 315 card base set and the 75 SPs in the 550 count box they fit very nice, and then the 110 green backs, 110 black backs, and the 45 inserts fit nicely in the 400 count box. Thats what I did, and those 2 full boxes have a combined weight of 4 pounds and 2.8 ounces.
On the Tejada issue, I just figured that Topps was disinclined to include Mitchell Report types in the set in general. After all, Bonds and Clemens don't have cards either, and while I know they're "retired" (or at least unsigned), it does strike me as more than a coincidence...

So today I stopped by my local card store and picked up a box, I'M HOOKED. Ended up st Target a little later in the day a bought some there. I think I will head to Walmart to see what they have after typing this. I will be putting together a set now. I will list the cards I have to trade and the ones I still need a little later. Zep, I do need 5 more ad panels to complete the set so that is almost enough justification for the hobby case, I'm a weak man and it doesn't take much.
So far, apart from the FRobby and Mantle seat in the 2 hobby boxes I bought, I've had the best luck with the blister packs at Wal Mart. I've either got a chrome, insert or SP in EVERY pack! I know it's not ink or anything pricey, but for me those are great odds. I'm probably the only person in the world that would buy a box with a 'guaranteed autograph' inside and not get the autograph.
