Lee is a good guy. I also hear that in his spare time he rescues kittens from trees, donates blood regularly and even helps little old ladies cross the street. The world needs more Lees!!! image
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Just completed a super easy deal with bri2327.

Brian was one of the nicest, most polite "buyers" I've ever dealt with. His correspondence made me feel like I was doing him a favor when the whole time he was helping me out by purchasing some of my 1954/1955 duplicates.

Frankly, given that he is a Yankee fan, I'm in shock image

Just kidding, thanks a ton Brian!

    2) Publius - have done a bunch of stuff with him and can say Joe is one of the easiest guys to work with and fun to talk with.

    3) cdsnuts - couple of small deals but obv CU HOF nominee

4)Angusdei - The most knowledgeable person HANDS DOWN i have ever spoken to about sports cards.. Very easy to deal with...

    5) belldsonics - got a 1993 sp box from him arrived next day

    6-50 --- all great guys!
Thats just a small sample. In fact, I have never had a bad deal with someone on these boards. A couple of no pays but nothing serious.

To pass the time along as I wait to finish my 55 set, I started a 1964 Topps Giants set and Neil Downey has been a huge help for me with this set. I bought a HOF lot from him last week and they came quick and well packed! We will be hammering out another deal this week too.
    Thanks Neil!

Had a transaction for a card on Jan 22., paid immediately that day. Seller said card has would be mailed on Jan 28th or 29th, still have not received it. Should I be complaining??
  • Downtown1974Downtown1974 Posts: 7,002 ✭✭✭✭✭
Sting, Have you been in contact with the seller about this? I would'nt be too worried yet, but I dont think inquiring about the status of the card would be out of line either.

Yes, I asked again on the 2nd of Feb and was told that yes it was in the mail. It has been 14 days since I paid.
