    Thanks Mike(swartz1)!

    Robert

  • Picked up a PSA 10 1984 Fleer for my Basic Mattingly set from Miniduff a few weeks back. A fair price, and a real blazer to boot! I must have passed on 20+ PSA 10's for this card in the last few years, with centering usually being the problem. This one is dead center 50/50 front and back. I just love the card!

Also recently bought a less expensive card from FirstBase23 at a great price.

Both were great to buy from start to finish!

    Thanks Gentlemen!

EDIT: I also picked up 2 nice packs from Muggyman over on the Pay It Forward thread. Great packs....no problems

Just completed (well, except for a couple of cards I accidentally left out of the package) a great deal with Dennis (dennis07). Started out as a small swap of spares from our 1970 BB sets, then blossomed into a much larger deal for even more cards from our sets. Great guy to deal with.

Thank you for the kind words, bking and right back at ya with the "great guy to deal with."
Also, I did a deal with golfcollector for some (well most) of his 1970 graded cards. He too is a great guy to deal with. By the way he posted that he is selling his gold card collection at his new web site.

  • Just finished dealing with bobbyw8469. Not exactly a sales transaction but I sent him some cards for a group sub and he wasted no time sending them back once he got them from PSA. Package was sent back nice and secure with lots of bubble wrap and Styrofoam. No jiggle room. Much appreciated. This forum has some really cool members on it.

    Extremely appreciative and very satisfied.

As some of you know, I am an avid collector of 1975 Topps mini baseball cards, and want to thank both Jim (miniduff) and Mike
(miconelegacy) for two smooth and very pleasant transactions. Mike even tossed in a free 1980 Topps baseball cello pack from
which I pulled a few very gradeable cards for my registry sets. Thanks, fellas!

Edit to add: Also thanks to Mike (Bosox) and Mark (mkduom) for helping me with my Minimania as well, LOL..

<< <i>I don't like Curt Shilling, but I do like John Kruk. >>

Maybe you should reedit your post again to reflect what you originally had to say about CPAMike, 1980'scollector and Miconlegacy.
  • They were taken down by request Mr. MBMiller, I'm glad you want to ignite a fire.

But in summary, my input to this feedback thread was that cpamike and 1980s collector are backstabbing liar losers that have no life outside these boards and their neverending comments of people's cards are pathetic.

And on miconelegacy, I take most of the blame for acting unprofessional.

Maybe I will edit these comments out later, so cut and copy it if you want Matt!

If you have something to say, be man enough to say it and stand by what it was you said. Don't edit it out later. People have problems on these boards, it happens.

    Muggy,

Do you really think before you post??? I just tried to call you, but you are refusing to answer the phone. Unlike you, I talk to anyone I have an issue with and certainly don't personally attack them. Calling someone a "loser that has no life outside these boards" is very interesting as I am married with two kids while playing both dek hockey and softball, but since you are all seeing and all knowing you must have it all figured out. And what is "pathetic" about commenting on other people's threads and giving advice to them. I think that is what this board is for, don't you? How many people do you help out and give advice to on these boards?

I don't know what your beef is with Nathan who is a stand up guy in my book, but if I recall he apologized for any misunderstanding that you guys had. I believe you could learn something from that. Just my 2 cents.

<< <i>I am not going to display my recent (and only) "he said/he said" private feud publically. >>

Add this to your list of half truths/lies. Of course, there is multiple lies in that one.

First, MBMiller did not ignite the fire, you did.

I tried to call you and discuss like adults. However, trying to be rational with the irrational is a waste of time and energy. I will defend myself to others because most of you need to know my point of view.

I have tried taking the high road. I guess now we can deal in facts.

Muggy was good to me at the beginning. However, on our last deal I finally had enough and got upset beacuse he did not do what he said he would do. . I mentioned it to a board member and for the past two weeks Muggy has made my life a living hell.

He texts me at 5:30 in the morning local time, he harasses me every couple of days about if I know "what he knows" and when I don't know he brags about the important information he withholds from us all. He talks about coming to "find" me at the National etc.

David deals in half truths, for example

(1)Just like saying he would not air our dirty laundry in the post quoted above for the boards then he takes shots and does just that multiple times.

(2)Saying he would send a pack to me that was promised and then not doing it and instead sending a paypal amount he decided was fair.

He remembers conversations/deals the way he wants to remember them.

Muggy tried late last week to sell me $3,500.00 in star packs and I passed and that made him mad at me again.

It has been three weeks since our disagreement, move on.

    We all get it.

    You don't like me.

  • Ahhhh, nice - now this is getting good!

I don't have time to rebut now, but I will comment on your first line <<"Add this to your list of half truths/lies. Of course, there is multiple lies in that one.">>...

Now I will. I'll retrieve your text messages where you apologized like a sissy and admitted your wrongdoing. I think you might have even used the words, "I beg for your forgiveness."

I simply chose not to accept your apology, but we can let the high school childish games continue. I actually take full responsibility for it.

    G bless, one love!

We need to call you halftruthsman.

I did apologize and ask for your forgiveness on the things I said to you. I was trying to take the high road. However, that ship has sailed and anything you try to sling my way is going to be slung right back at you except mine will actually be truthful.

Just had a great experience with Josh (dragnet). If anyone's looking for a sweet 77 Topps Baseball box, he has one available on the BS&T forum. Josh is great to deal with.

I wanted to give a shout out to James (jfkheat), who I have had a number of great transactions with prior, for a truly exceptional one. He listed a 1980 Topps Football cello box on BST, complete with a number of photos, and called out a stain on the box.

I bought and paid for it, but received a message from him saying he was really concerned that the staining was from the gum melting down. He suggested it be sent to Steve Hart for inspection and when I offered to pay half the related costs of doing so, James would have none of it.

The box checked out and BBCE shipped it directly to me last week... completing my Topps Football cello box run in the process.

I think we all know many sellers wouldn't have called out the staining and many others, having been paid, would have gladly shipped it off with a "no refund" policy. But not James. He went above and beyond to ensure he was selling a good product and would have a very happy buyer.

Thank you again, James, and I look forward to our next transaction!
