I hate to see this thread fall too far down the list.

    Thanks Fred!!

I've completed two trades with members here on the board, and currently have a few trades in progress.

    Completed:
jmoran19: I traded to him some extra 2007 Topps inserts that I had and he sent me some extra inserts that he had. Very easy trade and I'm happy to get rid of my excess and get something back in return. image

jamesgotpoorman: I had a few extra 2007 Topps base cards that he needed and he had a LOT of base cards that I needed. Even though the nmbers didn't match up, he said "I don't care, I'm giving you everything you need that I have". The cards arrived quickly and safely and it was an honest pleasure to trade with him. image

    In Progress:
mreuter: We're currently trading the excess inserts and base cards that we have for 2007 Topps to help each other complete their sets. Cards are in the mail as we read this. image

cwazzy: This one still boggles my mind. I've posted my list of cards needed and available, and out of nowhere he PMs me and says "I have these cards that you need, what's your address so I can ship them to you." He hasn't asked for anything in return. This is truly amazing and very much appreciated. Simply awesome. image

goose3: This is fun because I know that the cards I'm sending back will help out a young one in his collection and the fact that I can help a younger individual have some fun and collect some cards is a great feeling. This also gives me an excuse to dig through my cards and find something special to send in return. image

What I love so much about the people on these boards is that we're willing to trade with each other to help us get to our goals. It's not really about the money or the perceived value. It's about "you need this to complete your set and I have extras of these. I'll give you what you need so that you can complete your set." It reminds me of being a kid and trading with friends. This year's 2007 Topps will be the first set I've put together without buying as a factory set in a good decade. (I'll still buy the factory set though. image )
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.

I have done business with TennesseeBanker. I bought a 1984 Topps Mattingly in PSA 9. Smooth transaction. I did business with him initially because he was part of the CU GIFT EXCHANGE, and appeared to be involved in selling and trading to move stuff, so I was comfortable dealing with him.

    Hi,

Just received two 1954 Topps cards that I needed from Mr. Spahnfan. Very very nice cards, very fast shipping, I think he may have even sent them before he received my check.

    Highly recommended trader!

Time to bring this thread back to the top.

I've been pm'ing with Graphix back and forth about cards, trying to help him with any questions he may have. He pm's me the other day wanting my addy, he says he wants to send a thank you to me for helping him. I told him there was no need, I enjoy helping when I can, but he insisted.

Today I get a priority mail box with an address I didn't recognize. I rip into it like a kid at Christmas and find the following cards....

1991 Topps Traded Jason Varitek rc
    1980, 1978 and 1975 Carl Yastrezemski cards
    1981 Fleer Carlton Fisk
    1973, 1974, and 1975 Carlton Fisk cards

AND a 1972 Carlton Fisk rookie card! image

I don't know if I deserved these or not for just answering questions, but I do very much appreciate and love the cards.

Thank you so much Graphix! image
    Looking for Carl Willey items.

I have never left feedback for any of the members on here that I have done trades with and I thought I should since I just completed two more successful trades.

These members all are good traders in my book!!!

WFFL just sold me a 82 Topps traded set without the Ripken. Set arrived very promptly, well packed, and the cards were just as stated. A real great guy!!

Profoster sold me a PSA 10 George Bell rookie that literally arrived safely in TWO days. Very honest board member!! Thanks

Other successful members I have dealt with:

    Ronburgrundy
    CDSnuts
    Julen23
    Artimus
    cardpool
    gosteelers
    perkdog

I know that I am probably missing some people, along with people that have helped me out with my questions I have asked the forum. Thanks everyone!!!
  • Nick (user name nam812) was a very friendly, very prompt trader. I literally couldn't have asked for any better.

Avoid CDsnuts-- he leaves shameful and slanderous feedback remarks on Ebay whenever he pries himself away from the Boone's Farm long enough to actually contribute feedback. And he's a lowball bidder.
