RACC I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!
Huge strike for an 1877, To bad someone fudged her.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly."
I have one only, but I can't take a decent scan of it. It is an 1875-S AU in a PCGS slab. It has more than 20 chop marks on it, front and back. It looks real ugly, but it was graded an AU. I am happy with it, I think it was an uncirculated coin that a sailor carried and he had it chop marked in every port of call. That would explain the relative high grade and the plethora of chop marks.
There are some AWESOME coins posted ~ I've been drooling! This one is special to me because it was in a jar of coins my father-in-law left us when he passed and I had it graded. (PCGS XF40)
Have bought and sold on BST, many references available when asked.
