Hi all
I have been lurking here for a while and thought I'd join the fray.
I have been collecting since the mid 80's and after lurking here, I found that I am still a novice.
Each time I vist the site I learn something. Today there was a thread on different varieties 1831 Bust Halves, I have one
and found out it was an O-108 R1.
Another thread had a new VAM on an 1881S $ {VAM 62} I went and checked my 1881S, low and behold I now have an 1881S $ VAM 62 R5.
It has doubling on the left wreath and doubling above the motto.
My collection consists of mostly silver new and old. I posted the 1881S $ doubling for you viewing pleasure.
