    Just to reiterate...............

    item sent does NOT have to be slabbed........it can be more then one item..........as long as the cost value of the "item(s) sent" is appr $25.



    My reciprient for instance is getting four items............one of which happens to be slabbed.

    My package left California on Wed and will be crossing the border into Canada.

    I'll be honest .. I'm a bit worried about my package. My postal worker's English wasn't the best and she was trying to show me how to use their new automated machine (which she didn't seem to know much about herself).

    Package may take up to 3 weeks, though I was being assured by someone else there that'd it'd arrive within a week, two tops.

    Bottom line:
    The gift is worth the wait -- whenever it lands in the land of Tim Horton's.

    I sent my gift off today, though I forgot to wrap the items inside. I realized I forgot to wrap them when I was at the post office counter, upon which I added "CU GIFT EXCHANGE (Not wrapped!)" below the address in sharpie. Whatever the case, the items inside should be of quality and I hope the receiver enjoys them. Thanks again for such a great idea in this gift exchange!

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009.     It's taking a lot of time to find something special for my person.. I found 2 awesome cards that he would like for sure but the seller won't ship it to his address instead of mine let alone wrap it.. It's just not enough time to get something shipped up here and than back down to the US in time. The search for a good gift continues.

    I think I found a great gift for my recipient but the phrase "Last-Second Overnight Delivery" might be in my future.

    * For the record, not the seller's fault. It'll be due to the fact that I'm driving cross-country soon and will have to have the item shipped out to me after it arrives here on the east coast.

    I haven't sent my gift yet, but it's only going across state so I'm not yet worried about it arriving late. I didn't get my info until a few days ago and had to do a little ebay searching to get a suitable gift. All is good, and I'm really looking forward to it.

    Just a couple of weeks to go.....

    I got my gift a few days ago---wow, its like a ton of bricks....I stored it and won't open any of it till Christmas morning just to be on par with everyone else.

    I did not send my package away yet. Its not done. I want to be good to my partner so I don't have anything really special in my collection and had to order some stuff as well as go out shopping, which by the way was really fun. This whole thing is fun! I enjoy making sure things will be good for my gift receiver. In the end, our comraderie and group cohesion ought to be even better.

    I sent mine out on Monday. I was incredibly excited about what I was sending! I went through my entire collection the last couple of weeks weeding through some great stuff. About 4 gifts total. My wife and I wrapped them up and sent them out. Sure hope their happy!
