It's funny you mention that. A couple of weeks ago I was walking thru a trail in the woods and I heard vocies. As it turned out there were 2 guys walking around in the woods. Man, was I pissed because I live way out in the woods to be away from people and then i find two guys on my property My dog must have known that I was upset because she when balistic! Anyway, the 2 dudes claim to have been mushroom hunting. I quickly threw them out!

The most I spent on a single card? $125 for my Terry Bradshaw rookie. It was, and still is, ungraded.

Lets see, back in the late 70's I spent a whoping $100 on a box of cards(250 pieces?) Yes many were rubberbanded..lol

which contained some nice stuff... 55 Clemente, Brooks robinson Rc., Mays Rc thru 3rd year cards, plus many more.

So about $5 image true story.

But the $300 I spent on my "Must have" 71 Bradshaw Rc seems like the most.

Sig: Looking for a recent smr magazine, Please pm if you have one to recycle. Thank You

$1,750 for 1955 Topps Clemente Rookie PSA 7. No regrets, I have needed this card to complete the set for years.

Sigh. In 1990 or 1991, I saved up all my lunch money and bought a 1981 Topps Joe Montana rookie for $200. Nice looking card, 3 sharp corners, one slightly touched corner, I've seen worse looking 8s. Unfortunatly, back then, centering wasn't a big issue. It has really nice l/r centering, but is about 75/25 t/b. I recently sent it in for grading. Unless I missed something, it should come back a 7. image I think I could buy a PSA 7 today for $50. image

Nice Pirates collection. You would have loved the 1958 Pirates team signed ball I just sold last week. It had 30 autos including a perfect Clemente, Maz, Ted K., Groat, Face, Law and the rest.

It was Hammerhead on an Offerless 20- back. The second wave of star wars figures on 20 backs with no Boba Fett offer are crazy rare. Basically, there was a very small window of time from when Hammerhead was released and the mail away Boba Fett offer started. As a result, the very first runs of the catina creatures are on 20 backs with no offer.
