Your favorite type coin
All dates, mint marks, rarities, value and varieties aside, what is the coin you most admire?
Me, I really like two-cent pieces. I love all the detail they have. They have a decent size to them, and I like the antiquity and history of them.

Any type of coin is a type coin. My preference would be either Seated Liberty Half Dollar or Indian Cent.

Not as it is generally defined. Check the "type coin" section of any major dealer web site and see if you find Walkers, or Peace Dollars, or IHCs in there. These are considered by most to be series coins.

If sticking to Russ's definition.......Gobrecht Dollars. (unless those are patterns) in which case I say Draped bust dollars.

Bust halves are also pretty cool.

The Heraldic Eagle Flowing Hair silvers are probably my favorite "wish I had a killer Choice AU or better" coin designs ... but I don't have one ... yet
... and I love my Standing Lib's

One of my favorites... I'm sending 5 of these in for grading this week.
My favorite type coin that I have owned was a 1795 Flowing Hair half dollar in VG-10 with a plachet that was thin under the date.
My favorite type coin currently in my type set is an 1837 Reeded Edge half dollar.
