<< <i>I am selling this collection of 10,000 coins for an old-time local friend/coin dealer who has gone out of business after 57 years due to his degrading health. >>

It would have been slightly less obvious if he hadn't used the same load of crap.

    I love this quote...

The photos you see were made by a professional all those types you see are in the lot, plus much more.

He is a liar. I uncovered him last time and I don't believe anything of his story. he probably bought the coins just last month like last time.

Seems his feedback was built up by buying $5-10 coins.

eBay NARUed him under his other account and then let him back in. You'd think they might get a clue that he's a slimeball from the fact that the account he's using now was registered and ready before he even got caught under the other account. Typical MO for con artists.

I'm betting he's using those hundred or so cheap coins as 'filler' for all the wheat pennies in the 10,000 coin lot. heh.

I also love the fact that on the last auction when he was called out he claimed that he sent out the 32-S washington quarter to a 'lucky buyer' yet he is still listing it under the inventory of the lot.

Maybe the lucky buyer returned it (yeah right) because samthompson said it was a cleaned VF in the one thread here on the forums after buying it as a AU.

Even if those figures are true; care to address your 57 year dealer retirement story when we proved last time around that you purchased all the coins on ebay?

You're a typical eBay scumbag con artist. The only difference between you and most is that you're extra stupid.

I am not a scumbag con artist. If you would just sit back and listen to yourself and read what I typed about the %'s you would see this. How can I be so bad if I allways offer full refunds? By the way, on the shipping thing, it does take my up to 3 or 4 days to ship but that is just because these coins are kept at another location. Why dont you guys order 5 or 10 lots and you will see.

That's a pretty safe way to rope in more suckers to your scam. You know damned well that 95% of people won't bother. They're either too embarassed to admit they got ripped off, or think it's not worth the hassle.

How come you can't justify all the stuff from the linked thread about the various coins?

Return policy is nothing if what you are selling is not represented as the truth. Thats still a scam.

Russ then why don't you order some yourself and you'll see. I don't know your ebay ID. Then you'll see for yourself. I am making a very very small profit off this especially with the keydates that I added in myself. The guy who retired, Tom Avery of century coins is holding the bulk coins at his home.

Because I have a long-standing policy of refusing to to business with ripoff artists. Duh.

My grandpa used to be a big collector and took me in his shop when I was a kid. He was impressed that I know how to use Ebay and asked me to sell what he didn't want to keep for himself after he retired. And that is the truth.

I'll tell you guys what I'll do. I'll send a few of you a random draw for free. Then tell me what you got.

Just preserving that so everyone can research it. Google comes up with nothing. You'd think after 57 years in business, something would come up.

    Russ, NCNE

    Nope.

    1. There is nothing to verify its a random draw.
    2. I would return it no matter what.

Please supply a address or phone number for Tom Avery's coins!

    Look at the feedback!!
Builds it up with buying, selling a few decent pieces.....now the bomb is going to fall!

Has anyone though of filing a fraud complaint with the Fed's?image

Century coins and stamps is now closed and there is a card shop there. there is no number or address for it. Hence, retired. I don't have time to ramble on like this, there are an endless number of questions you could ask me that I could not "verify" over the internet. That is the nature of the internet.

I'll go ahead and take a free random draw (Granted, pictures will be posted to this thread of the random draw, so you're aware). PM sent with address.

The only issue that I have with your auction is that nowhere do I see the mention of wheat cents. I am sure that most people would be upset spending up to $4. for a common wheat cent.

I am sending a PM for a free draw and I will post the result of my draw.

    Joe.

    Free draw?

Don't you guys think that the "random draws" are going to be biased? I mean, wouldn't he pepper the free lots to forum members with nice coins to make himself look good?

Sammy, there is just too much doubt to believe anything you are doing is on the up & up.
Can't you seperate the coins into denominations? Was your dad(?) so unorganized in his shop that an inventory couldn't have been taken?

No, you are selling 3C coins for $2-3 and hiding behind the cover of a 'random drawing'.
And I HATE when sellers say they would refund the buyers money.....does that include shipping (& ins if paid for)?
Oh, then the buyer is out shipping from & to you, what $5 or $6 for the priviledge of dealing with you?
I have been neg'ed a few time for that & wear it with honor, sell honestly or get neg'ed

Sell honestly, & even though you might have a return policy, buyer will be happy with the deal & not need to use it.

That being said, I'm always up for a freebie..........maybe 10,000 members can take Sam up on his offer & take him out of his predicament!image

OK thigpen and joe will get free draws. I can take maybe 1 more but thats it. My profits are skinny enough as it is. You have my word I will pick them randomly just like from the auction.

Avoid the real questions yet again.

2-3 draws? Thats it? I hope you don't go out of business because you gave away $8-10 in coins.
