  • << <i>Sammy, there is just too much doubt to believe anything you are doing is on the up & up.
Can't you seperate the coins into denominations? Was your dad(?) so unorganized in his shop that an inventory couldn't have been taken?

No, you are selling 3C coins for $2-3 and hiding behind the cover of a 'random drawing'.
And I HATE when sellers say they would refund the buyers money.....does that include shipping (& ins if paid for)?
Oh, then the buyer is out shipping from & to you, what $5 or $6 for the priviledge of dealing with you?
I have been neg'ed a few time for that & wear it with honor, sell honestly or get neg'ed

Sell honestly, & even though you might have a return policy, buyer will be happy with the deal & not need to use it.

That being said, I'm always up for a freebie..........maybe 10,000 members can take Sam up on his offer & take him out of his predicament!image >>

well actually shipping is free with more than 25. and yes if you have less than 25 i would send back shipping too. It's a trust thing you see even though I dont know what they got I'll trust them to send back the same coins. Trust does go both ways.

  • Tell you what, If (and this is a big if) you can come up with an invoice for a specific coin group from the original shop and send it out with the coins listed in the ORIGINAL invoice with receipt from the original shop.......I will post it to the group. Remember, they don't need to be uber-rare coins but ones that match a specific invoice from the original business....I will send the coins back.

Remember, you should still have invoices from the business up to 7yrs for tax purposes but most collectors and dealers will keep the originals to keep track of trends or the original purchase price for bragging rights.

either pm, email, or phone me.

<< <i>I am not a scumbag con artist. If you would just sit back and listen to yourself and read what I typed about the %'s you would see this. How can I be so bad if I allways offer full refunds? By the way, on the shipping thing, it does take my up to 3 or 4 days to ship but that is just because these coins are kept at another location. Why dont you guys order 5 or 10 lots and you will see. >>

Well, then, seeing as your original account isn't NARU'd any more, why keep using a new eBay account?

Oh, yeah -- I'd want to run away from that 93.8% feedback rating, too. image

HAHA...ok I see maybe that we're all starting to get along a little better. I think some of you just like pulling my chains for a reaction. I think that deep down you know I'm not pulling an uber-scam. I hope that you'll sit back and watch my feedback over the next couple weeks, and if any of you order, please post the results here.

It should be duely noted that the coins I added to this lot as from the ones that were sold last time are much better. No dateless coins, and lots of Barbers. I'm telling the truth. Gods speed folks, Ive got to cook dinner for my grandpa he is dying from cancer.
  • I thought these "lottery" coin deals were against Ebay rules, and might be illegal, period in most states. Will the Ebay coin police do anything about this??

I will not participate in this. I would like the guy to pull the auction and either go away or sell the coins in a normal manner. image

  • << <i>My grandpa used to be a big collector and took me in his shop when I was a kid. He was impressed that I know how to use Ebay and asked me to sell what he didn't want to keep for himself after he retired. And that is the truth. >>

Why don't you just sell them normally instead of running an illegal scam lottery?

I don't object to you sending this to anyone. I am not pulling a scam, nor was I before. I refunded to everyone who asked. Ebay let me back on because I resolved all 5 complaints (out of 200 or so orders) I even let a few of them keep the coins. Just wait a couple of weeks and see what feedback says if you don't believe me. thank you.
  • I'm willing to wait and watch you get kicked off ebay again. I can't believe people are putting up with you and letting you stay here and lie to our faces.

  • Sam,If this was a legit auction it would have a pic of a legit coin that smoeone is legitimately bidding on,not an auction where you "may" win a nice coin or you "may"win a three cent wheatie for three bucks.
This is a get rich quick "scheme" on your part, and it does'nt take a rocket scientist to figure it out.image

You will soon be NARU'd again.

    Knock, knock.....

Remember me Sam? You asked about "who wants a free draw"..... I called you out and you have responded to all but me. What's your deal? If the auction is legitimate, you would be able to fulfill my measley request without hesitation.

You really need to go now and figure out who you would be more likely to shovel bull$hit to, a bull or a pig...........

I dare you to take me up on this, seeing as how you initially offered but failed to back your claims up.

  • I feel so stupid at this point, because I bought from him and others with the same kind of offer. It reminds of a line from the movie "Guys and Doll" "My father gave me some advice before he died. If a guy offers you a bet that a ??lemon?? would jump up and squirt water in your ear, do not take this bet, for as sure as you are sitting there, you will end up with an ear full of water." Sucker bets and sellers. UGH I hate them all. I have learned my lesson with an ear filled with water.

  • Lord have mercy...

Due to the vast disapproval of my auction on this site, I am strongly considering just cancelling this auction and changing the format to be a little less random. I mean its no longer worth it to put up with all this negativivty, for I would make the same small % no matter how I sold these coins. Im just waiting on Live help to get back up to see if i can get a credit or not.

I have sent draws to about 10 or so bidders, lets see what the feedback says in the coming week or 2. I will be as interested as you guys have become to see the outcome.

Michael Dixon I just mailed your coins an hour ago I hope you got something good (nope I didn't peak).
  • Why don't you want to prove yourself to the forum? Seems simple enough to me. Heck, I will even pay shipping both ways if it's the cost that is stopping you. You can even have an off-line chat with Carl W. and have him take a look at your offerings for a "second, in person view"

Or, even better would be to bring some of the lots to the Santa Clara show next weekend and prove to the forum members there.

As far as the negativity, you haven't even given anyone any reason to believe you yet.

OK, you've convinced me...so here's what I'm going to do... I'm going to pull the auction whenever live help gets back up to see if i can get a credit... them I'm going to wait for Safe harbor to reply to tell me if the auction is OK with them. Then if it's OK with them I'm going to talk to my lawyer. And finally I will either re list the way it is, or just change the whole format and sell the keydates seperately, depending of what I hear from safe harbor and my lawyer. If it is against Ebay rules alone, I will not go into utter shock, but if it's actually illegal, then I will be quite surprised. I'll post safe harbors reply

Sorry, Sam you'll have to take a seat and wait your turn.

Unless of course you're keyword spamming, then you can move to the front of line.

You're not keyword spamming, are you Sam?
