IT as well. We may not be the typical collector, we just have easy access to the forum.

Wow! I didn't know there were so many computer geeks in coin collecting! image

I bet there are many collectors in the educational field as well, such as myself.

I would like to own my own coin shop...but no money to start. I would rather have enough money just to go about the country, show by show, buying what I like and not having to worry about paying the bils. image

There are a lot of military, both active duty, and retired, on the forum
  • I'm in IT too. Work at a publishing company, using an enterprise CMS, Documentum.

I think EvilMCT has it right, we're probably not the typical collector. The small coin club in my city has mostly older guys, a couple bring their wives, but many don't even have computers.

    Jeremy,

Can you please make the seats a little bigger? As far as I'm concerned the seats in 1st class should be the standard size.

  • sounds like more than 50% of the people here work in IT, could it be that we are posting to the forums between the hours of 8-5 mean that we are they guys that can get away with this kind of stuff at work?

Saged advice..... If your not in IT now, do yourself a favor and find a inductry that is not overloaded with candidates. After the "overtime" has been cut, and the outsourcing has kicked in you may find it a difficult to get a decent position that is stable.
