Mike Hayes ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !
Wow! I didn't know there were so many computer geeks in coin collecting!
I bet there are many collectors in the educational field as well, such as myself.
.....GOD
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Luke 11:9
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." -Deut. 6:4-5
"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us." -Isaiah 33:22
I would like to own my own coin shop...but no money to start. I would rather have enough money just to go about the country, show by show, buying what I like and not having to worry about paying the bils.
I'm in IT too. Work at a publishing company, using an enterprise CMS, Documentum.
I think EvilMCT has it right, we're probably not the typical collector. The small coin club in my city has mostly older guys, a couple bring their wives, but many don't even have computers.
sounds like more than 50% of the people here work in IT, could it be that we are posting to the forums between the hours of 8-5 mean that we are they guys that can get away with this kind of stuff at work?
Student, but furture IT professional... looking at Workstation Support, rather than Network Administration... you can get good money to if you are certified to fix printers
Retired from industrial cutting tool & abrasives, and general M.R.O. supplies as a wholesale distributor...... My son runs the company now.....
My business consists of supplying to machinist, tool & die makers, millrights, foundries, purchasing managers of manufacturing companies, etcetera...... In short my company supplies alot of the materials to the different peoples occupation or profession that post to this forum from the looks of things.
Saged advice..... If your not in IT now, do yourself a favor and find a inductry that is not overloaded with candidates. After the "overtime" has been cut, and the outsourcing has kicked in you may find it a difficult to get a decent position that is stable.

That was great, I busted out laughing. I got the same thing from others in the office who read the boards as well!
Keep up the good work!

Jeremy,
Can you please make the seats a little bigger? As far as I'm concerned the seats in 1st class should be the standard size.
