I’ll be stepping away from this one. I can’t believe they did the ol bait and switch on us like that.

Why can't you believe it? Because they've never done it before? 🤣🤣🤣

I agree with you guys! I had subscribed for 2 sets based on the 160K mintage (and I thought I over did it), but now with +260K mintage, I'm canceling my subscription especially at this price.

Ok I will stir the pot. A possible short strike here, I had no intention on buying these but I will watch this figure. Being the end of the year and declining sales and interest, it could happen. Maybe a diamond in the rough. Nobody knows what the ending mintage will be at this point!! I truly could care less how this plays out but we need an interesting story to end the year.

Here's the 2026 Retro Bucks mintages & nothing on the Diamond Finish pair:

Lately the mint has been very odd. Although they finally straightened out my account and I can order now after over a month delay, they have been sending me emails about successful shipping on a 2027 reverse proof product and just today the diamond field set.

I am waiting until 8 days before the actual release date to determine whether I cancel. Probably will.

    Anybody get these strange emails?

**Good news — the shipment for your #USM25315*** placed on 10/09/26 has been confirmed. Thank you for shopping with the official U.S. Mint.

Yeah. Not really a hot take, given that anything could always be "a possible short strike" if demand does not materialize. That does not make it worth taking a shot on every single thing the Mint produces, because it's either hot out of the box, or could be later if the mintage turns out to be a fraction of the maximum.

The Mint didn't bump the maximum up from 160K to 260K just to do a head fake on us and only produce 63K. They will produce to demand, up to 260K. And, the irony is that they will be lucky to sell 160K, so they should have just left the maximum mintage alone and given us something to actually want.

I just paused my subscription. went from 10 to 5 to 1, and then thought about it & would rather save my money on this product.

Nov 6th 151am & my three subs are now cancelled, 6 days before 11-12 release.

Silver is in low $50 so I'd get about $250 in silver for just $1,150.

I really like the designs but I can't justify the $375 price point.

    I have faith in aftermarket.
If you search fleabay for recent Morgan & Peace issues they trade just above spot.
Gifts that get converted back to cash.
    These 2026 mintages rival 2023.
The USMINT still offers some 2023 but inflated to 2026 prices
