Diamond Finish Retro Morgan & Peace Bucks
Mintage holding at 160,000, but we will see about that before Nov 12th release.
I have tried to go above my 5 sets, with reply "exceeding global limits. "
This time however I raised sets to 6 & then to 7 sets. At $375 a pop thats about it for me, insurance I'll get acceptable QC.
Red Order Button is LIT, get'um while you can as if these stay at 160k max could prove to be winner, well if you like diamond finish.

Still 56,000 available for subscription, but no numbers of overall ATS in the main product page. I suspect it’s going to the high side. As @NJCoin points out, Bullion Shark will sell you as many as you want even cheaper than Mint prices.
yea but won't you have to pay sales tax if purchasing through bullion shark?. Also the HHL is gone for subs, so you can grab all of them if you want. I can't find the original thread on this coin, do you know what happend to it?
$6 cheaper at Bullion Shark but shipping? Tax for certain States??
Bullion Shark has a 5% discount for new buyers which will take care of most of the sales tax which will net it down to about $6 cheaper than from the USM. However, I'm not interested in the Sharks non MS70 rejects.
I'm in a high sales tax area, so even with the 5% savings, it would still cost me roughly $10 more, assuming shipping is free. maybe someone else could benefit, but not me.
Yeah, original thread is gone !!
They are available for subscription right now if anyone still wants one
I cannot locate dealer presale numbers available. I added AB & got error page a couple times.
Also here's ats of 55,746 image, arrow at bottom
&
2nd image is max mintage is still 160,000, arrow at top.
I like this offer more at 160k, meaning I keep the 7 pairs. But if they do the usual last minute 250k bump I'll drop by half.
I am excited about the diamond finish, what actually fleshes out remains a mystery.
One month, 3 days and overnight delivery, inhand less than 5 weeks.
.
That's true in some states. I'm in one that doesn't charge sales tax on them, thankfully. (At least for now. We've held that off politically for some years now, but it's only a matter of time.) They must have removed the sub HHL today, as somebody earlier today couldn't go over 5. Not sure about an original thread for this.
I thought those receiving discounts couldn't undercut the mint by dealer agreement
Mintage will likely be updated to 260k-300k
This vid link was in the original thread.
The claim is that the diamond shapes reduce or constrict metal flow during the die pressing. Such that sharper devices result. If true, I figured that the majority would be 70s and if that is so, then graded 70s would not be scarce.
Makes sense, given that it's a one-off, there is no subscription HHL, and at least one dealer is offering to pre-sell at a discount. This is going to end up being a great thing for the TV guys to hype, and a big bust for the rest of us.
This is going to be my guess.
What happened to the original thread? Someone take it sideways and get it nuked?
received a email that subscriptions are open. I pressed on the link and sure enough there it was. I added to cart for subscriptions and checked out. I just got the confirmation email that it went through. I had tried a while back and it had already closed. I’m glad to be able to get one. I think they look nice.
I cut back to two subs, I really would like to go with just one, but I always consider qc issues. I want one set only as a completist, but am not all that interested, as the diamond finish has no ties to the original, less even than the reverse proof or enhanced uncirculated, which I had only minor interest in. Might just as well, put tiny little rhinestones for eyes and follow the gimmicks of the RCM.
Mine shows to have shipped on 9/29/26 but there is no tracking # nor dollar amount. I just recently started buying from the mint again so I don't understand how the mint communicates actual shipping on subscriptions.
I think it usually shows shipped right after you enter a new subscription, will likely switch to processing in your order history, and then to shipped again, when they actually ship.
"Shipped" when signing up for a subscription means that your subscription has been accepted and entered into the system. When your coins ship, you'll get another shipping notice, with a price and tracking information.
there will be a totally new order number generated for the actual product once the subscriptions process
Ty all!
I'm gonna drop my subscriptions to 1 . I just don't think these will take off ?
Still loving the 160k max, but I know they can inflate day before, 11-11-26.
250k mintage adjustment up & I'll deflate to 3.
Pricey Bullion, but I feel these diamond finish could lure people into numismatics & beyond that I like their ai renders so I remain excited.
Subscription page now says product limit is 262,500.
Cue the mass sub reduction.
262,500 is 12,500 more inflated than I assumed they'd adjust up from 160,000 to 250k.
Sweet ! Glad they did not wait till last 24 hours to play games.
So my 7 is not happening, nor is more than 7 sets.
At my leisure I'll drop to three to get one or two great pair:
I just canceled my last subscription for 1
Good luck all !
Inflated limit = Deflated expectations
Shine on you crazy diamond ( PINK FLOYD )
Same here, I knew it was going to happen. These are just way overpriced for what they are.
leisure? only up to the time they start processing. that could be a week before on sale date
Increased my sub! Buying as gifts 😁
.859 of 999 silver times two = 1.72 ounces divided into $375 issue = $218 an ounce silver.
Silver dropped to $55 an ounce this morning so roughly 4 times spot cost for each 2 coin set.
Maybe I'll just zero subscriptions, again, at my leisure but a solid week before 11-12-26.
I wish silver had a pricing grid like USMINT's other metals.
Video up on product page. Here's Morgan Die:
Too bad they threw the fly into the ointment.
I also will wait it out to early November and reconsider my sub. I just bought a nice 2 oz .999 silver Intaglio Mint high relief $20 St Gaudens tribute coin for $128.
You never know these days, maybe they'll goose the Diamond Retro Bucks with a limited in the mix privy ?
I've got a couple Intaglio Silvers sourced from ebay last three years.
I like error coins & shenanigans so they were happy additions at less than spot thesedays:
Plus grading, you'd be in for $500 for a couple silver dollars....
Morgan & Peace Bucks rarely top $100 each in ebay auctions, both raw ogp or slabbed. USMINT still has 2023 etc available.
Why? A 100% move is still only $50. Too much squeeze for too little juice for the Mint to be adjusting silver prices on a weekly basis.
Silver numismatic products are expensive. Period. If you are price sensitive, it's not like 3x spot is fine while 4x spot is not. And they know that.
When things get out of hand, one way or the other, and then stay there for a while, they adjust pricing, like they did at the beginning of this year. You can rest assured that if prices drop below $50, and stay there for a while, they will adjust prices downward.
Just no need for $5-10 price adjustments every week. The bands for the grid are $50 wide. They aren't going to make a special grid, with $5 bands, for silver. Too much work. If 4x $55 is bothering you, just wait for silver to go back to $60 or $65. Problem solved.
After price hike was announced late 2025 I picked up 12 Morgan & 12 Peace for $87 a pop. Prices more than doubled in one move. The after market is vibrant, gifts get sold back of spot to dealers and fleabay auctions daylight true value. Still like the diamond fields concept and what I've seen from Hollis on utube last couple days many more product finishes are planned for next year. They are very happy with the diamond fields as it exceeded their production expectations.
the horror
I'm thrilled for them, and wish them nothing but the best in trying to sell a mass market product at a premium price. Anything with a mintage of 260K should be offered closer to 2x spot than 4x, and sales volumes will reflect that.
They'll be lucky if they can sell 150K sets at $375 each. They should have set the maximum mintage accordingly, instead of being pigs and risking killing the golden goose.
