News of this and the gold Trump coin must be spreading fast. I encountered a two minute waiting room at 5:19 AM.

Would a Pearl Harbor and 9/11 commem be in the future while we're at it?

Which version do you prefer? Which version do you think the mint will make? I think the dated one will be easier for them to stamp out.

I'm not sure which is the typo regarding the release date. Have these been struck already? Or are they going to do these on 9/11 similar to the Trump July 4th struck on July 4th?

That makes the most sense. Seems a new record to list a product about 36 hours before a pre-order with little detail. Press release today might clear things up?

I would like the September 10 date, might not give buyer's clubs a chance to get organized?

I could be wrong here, as I don't belong to any group that asks me to buy for them, but I don't think those clubs get all that into bags and rolls, do they? They missed a nice chance at the Trump $1 to make some money judging by the current secondary.

You are correct. I don't have any knowledge of them either. I just know the Trump dollar on sale was stressful for me, and I'm guessing this one will be as much or more so.

Some of us were wondering if they'd make the 9/11 half dollars available to the general public, but then that would impact the uniqueness of the ones presented to the memorial. Making some with a different mintmark is the ideal solution.

The images I have seen of the memorial ones are W and this item shows it is P, so that seems to be the plan. I would still love a W, but as you said this keeps those unique to the 9 11 Memorial.

Many also wondered if they would do an Olympics ASE copy for the lowly citizenry, but I guess not.

Well now we at least have an ATS of 100,000 and an expected in-stock date of Dec 3. With any luck, we will see an image (NO PHOTO ... lol) later tonight or tomorrow morning. I would hope they would set up a HHL, or these will not last 15 minutes.
