What you were told might well be the case, but it contradicts what the product description says. The person you spoke to might have just been giving generic information on the distribution of the coins. It wasn’t well publicized I do not believe. The Privy was unknown to me until last night when I read the product info page. I bet once the word gets out they go quickly.
Started with a 15 min wait time... went up to 19 mins. But got in after just over 3 mins. Longest wait time I've seen for any of this year's releases I've tried for.
Got into the waiting room on the desktop at 10:51. Got into the waiting room at 10:52 on the iPad. Wait time was over an hour on the desktop. iPad was 40 minutes. Same Wi-Fi. Just got my order in for 2 rolls and 2 bags from the iPad. Wait room on the desktop has been flying all over the place. Now it is at 15 minutes. The iPad clocked steadily down with big leaps. Go figure.

The Trump dollars are being distributed through banks. That doesn't mean the privy marks are. The listing suggests they are in the bags and rolls as a "special offer". So, we're not assuming, even though I don't necessarily completely trust the Mint proofreaders.
After about a 30 minute wait, I got in and purchased the HH limit (2 of each), USM23786XXX, confirmed. At one point, my wait time was over 1 hour but got in sooner.
