@TOMTJC Wow! Very cool in a 2.1. By the looks of her, she might grade at least a point higher today, although one would be foolish to try. Thanks for sharing.

    Neat coins here.
I picked off this morning. The price seemed fair:

" Except for that little ANACS in the center, that stays put."

Do you have an image of just that coin?

I'm no good with trying to take photos, so I'll just link the doubledimes.com write-up.

This is the discovery coin for BF-3, I own it, but I can't take credit for identifying it properly (I though it was a BF-2).
This is still the only known 1875 BF-3.
I've searched all available archives and have been scouring shows and the interwebs for years trying to find another.
I'm sure that the authors and a few others have been too.
A few years in, so far. This is the only one, so it stays in it's plastic.

That is some coin to own. Congrats. Don't blame you, it would stay in the same ANACCS SWH, also. Thanks for sharing. Absolutely, a great double dime collection.

Just sold this 1877 PCGS PR64 a few days ago. The rest will be sold on eBay in a short while.

Not sure if the 1876 is a proof. Please leave opinions on the 1876! Thanks! Bob.

Incredibly, this was a coin I bought off eBay with no bean that later stickered. The fields are semi-PL, which is not uncommon for this Philly issue of just 36,910 circulation strikes. I own a higher graded 1875-P, but this coin is overall a better full package.

    @FullHorn - nice one!

I do not currently own a decent 20c piece. I have a holed example in my cork board collection, which is a basic 19th century type set. No pics of that.

This was the last unholed example I've had. Modest grade, but quite appealing. And a Philly.

Come to think of it, I've never owned a high grade 20c piece. My past best might've been a VF, if that.

One day I'd like a proof.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
