Scored my first twenty cent coin today. They made like a 1,155,000 with this date and mm so there should be a few more out there. So lets see them.

Very nice coin.... I do not have one of those....Should add one though....Cheers, RickO
Congratulations on your first double dime.
While 1,155,000 coins were minted, the US Mint melted many over the years. It's likely only about 20,000-30,000 pieces survive today.

Very nice examples!
Always liked double dimes.
Almost bought an ANACS Photograde AU 50 MANY years ago.
Someday, I will add one to the holdings.

I like the quality look of this VF20 '75-CC Double Dime. I purchased it raw not too long ago and it was graded by our hosts as PC20 earlier this year. - Tim

FullHorn, yours is exceptional! (At least to me).
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Here's my CC, graded 25. Difference between a 20 posted earlier, and this 25 is apparently that you can almost pretend to see the L and Y in liberty on a 25.
A whizzed "AU Details" coin I liquidated quite a while back. I keep the pics just to remind me that, "You really shouldn't have been fooled by that, Tom!"
Nice coin!
Hey, I have some of them.
I think mine was under graded. It got XF45. What do you all think? My coin pic skills aren't the greatest!

Lot #8526. Original Envelope for One of the First 1875 Twenty-Cent Pieces Struck.
Approximately 10 centimeters x 6 centimeters. An interesting and enticing item that would serve as a desirable addition to an advanced collection of twenty-cent pieces and/or Liberty Seated coinage. On the front of this otherwise plain white envelope is written in cursive script: 20 CENT PIECE, 1875 / ONE OF THE FIRST. / A.C. ECKFELDT / FROM W.E.D. JUNE 4. The back of the envelope has the numbers 192.27 and 144.96, as well as random scrawl near the lower right corner. Numismatic historians will recognize that the two individuals referred to on the front of the envelope are Chief Coiner Adam C. Eckfeldt and William Ewing Dubois, at one time or another curator of the Mint Cabinet and assayer. Minimal foxing to the envelope, although grading VG due to several old, sharp folds.

One of my favorite denominations.
Incredibly proud to own this example; PCGS MS63 — the reverse is prooflike in hand

the reverse is good match for the trade dollar used for your icon.
Has anyone seen a nice '75-P in about the same grade and look of the CC in this post? I am having a real tough time locating the P version with quality surfaces. Is anyone else having a similar problem? Thanks, Tim
Also, is anyone trying to locate the Frost varieties as well? with different obverse and reverse pairings.

My 1875-P has really nice color if tilted as in the 3d photo.

I have a soft spot for the 20c for some reason. I've owned a few, but never one that I really thought was exceptional. The coin posted by the OP has a look that is particularly nice, especially for the grade. I would be interested in doing the short series if it wasn't for the virtually impossible 76-cc.
Here's one that caught my attention. It's perfectly nice for now, but subject to eventual upgrade when the right coin comes along. Strike along the lettering and stars is really nice. The centers - well, not quite as nice. One of my goals is to include at least one coin from each mint in the set, so if I do, something else will need to fill the CC spot. I guess there are plenty of options.
Great double dimes!!! Beauties.
Been collecting for 50 years, and I’ve never owned one.
Dave
I like them just because they are such odd ducks; strange denom, Liberty's face looks like a gopher (or other critter, as posted); they often aren't too well struck up, and there is that one impossible coin in the very short series, the 76-cc.
I have a few lower grade ones.. certainly not like the beauties above
On it's way in the mail as of yesterday! I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at it without thinking of Phteven (the dog above).
That's a beauty!

That's what I am asking about... a '75-P with nice enough surfaces in VF to be collectible. Can't see in the pic how much Liberty text is showing... is it graded Fine?

@sedulous its a VF20
I guess I just lucked onto it. I liked it, so I bid, happened to win.
Good luck on your search.
That is exactly the coin I hope to find someday. Nice pickup Shaun!

I thought that I was the only one trying to do the die variety set by BF number.
There is a registry on Gary Fortins site, it's been lonely there.
My favorite piece, of all cent pieces.
I can think of a couple of collectors in addition to @KindaNewish.

Old cleaning I think but love the strike on this.
