    I bought this coin many years ago and it remains the only 1906 DCAM nickel in any grade graded by PCGS or NGC despite rampant grade inflation. Unfortunately the True Views don’t do it justice.

    I have several, these are the only two with pics. The CBH is also 58+. The half eagle is one of my favorite coins, the color and surfaces are outstanding.


    Other passions include golf, Moto Guzzi motorcycles, and Euro motorcycles in general.

    My friend “Cat” and I have many discussions about the subjective topic of “maximizing value” of one’s collection. There is no “right or wrong”. Admittedly, the eye appeal of @Catbert ’s coins is so high, that there’s no doubt that when they get put up for sale, bidders will miss out if they expect to get those coins at average pricing based on the labels of those whole-graded coins!

    OK, so while getting a gold CAC sticker is tough (my understanding is that in CAC’s conservative opinion the coin is typically undergraded by roughly 1.5 grades), and as such the vast majority of coins with gold CAC stickers are graded 64 or less (occasionally 65), I find it mind boggling that you got a gold CAC sticker on a 66+!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!

    1916-D Buffalo I Upgraded to MS64+ and got Stickered. My Favorite Buffalo I have owned! Better Date + Very Unique Toning!!

    This 1921 Peace is one of my favorite plus coins in my collection. I’ve looked at a LOT of ‘21 Peace dollars, and cycled through an MS62 CAC and an MS63 example before landing on this example. If I were to ever sell my Peace date set, this one and the ‘28 (also a 64+, posted earlier in this thread) would be keepers.
