Everyone loves a gold cac, how about some bust coinage with gold cacs? These are super tough to make or even find for that matter. I am lucky enough to own a couple of them. I am always looking for more and I am happy to pay a finders fee if the deal goes through.

1811 AU55

1807 VF25

1814 AU55

1814/3 XF45

1831 AU50

1834 AU50

Thanks for looking!

Gold CAC bust halves are indeed tough to come by. I own 8 and I’m very happy with all of them.

Yes. Purchased it from David Perkins. Thanks for the nice comments.
Looked at CAC gold sticker populations. Only 11 bust dollars out of 1878 beaned coins have the gold bean. Capped bust halves have 99 gold beans out of a total pop of 11,057 coins.

Great coin, for sure! That Dollar just exudes originality!! <3

    .
But then, I think the other part that caught my eye was the number of Gold Beans for Capped Bust Halves.

Dave @drddm has over 8% of the entire Gold Bean population for CBH's!! :oB):p

The first one (the 1811) just about knocked me over!!

Should have placed two gold stickers on that one.

Does anyone feel the need to crack and resend for a higher grade? Is it tempting?

It is not that life is short, but that you are dead for so very long.

5 or so years ago I saw that 1811 in a dealers case in either Mass or NH and passed on it like a flaming idiot. Making my regret even more painful, I passed mainly due to the crack in the holder. Idiot.

Wow, now this is why I come here, this is what a thread on a coin board should be like, IMO (for the most part), but lately we have to scroll through page after page of 2 or 3 users arguing about anything and everything.

Great coins, thanks for resurrecting this thread!

Woah Woah Woah, hold your horses! Your 1825, 1829, 1830 and, 1834 told me via morse code they'd rather reside in my safe with their brothers and sisters.

@TomB your twin 1838s also relayed the same message :D
