Everyone loves a gold cac, how about some bust coinage with gold cacs? These are super tough to make or even find for that matter. I am lucky enough to own a couple of them. I am always looking for more and I am happy to pay a finders fee if the deal goes through.

1814 AU55

1814/3 XF45

1831 AU50

Thanks for looking!

And you know, if you only have one, that's a pretty damn special one! <3

Gold CAC bust halves are indeed tough to come by. I own 8 and I’m very happy with all of them.

Same here! I was fascinated by its patination. Most unusual.

Yes. Purchased it from David Perkins. Thanks for the nice comments.
Looked at CAC gold sticker populations. Only 11 bust dollars out of 1878 beaned coins have the gold bean. Capped bust halves have 99 gold beans out of a total pop of 11,057 coins.

Great coin, for sure! That Dollar just exudes originality!! <3

    .
But then, I think the other part that caught my eye was the number of Gold Beans for Capped Bust Halves.

Dave @drddm has over 8% of the entire Gold Bean population for CBH's!! :oB):p

The first one (the 1811) just about knocked me over!!

Should have placed two gold stickers on that one.

Unfortunately, I sold this one a few years back. Its painful to think about.

I am patiently waiting for the current owner to sell this one, I put in a super large offer.

Does anyone feel the need to crack and resend for a higher grade? Is it tempting?
