Does anyone have an idea on how much this psa 10 Ryan cello might go for ? I saw a 83 Ryan cello psa 10 on eBay go for over 1,300 which was out of my price range , I will assume this may go for around the same price ?

It does sound better. it's misleading though. It's not supposed to be better. It's supposed to be the same thing. I don't like qualifiers. PSA seems to be the only grader that uses them.

At a card show in Pasadena over the weekend, a 1968 Nolan Ryan RC PSA-8 MBA-Silver sold for $30,000 ( sticker price). A person walked up and paid cash. I had been trying to work out a deal …so the seller let me know the card had been sold. A new record for the assigned grade…

We have someone who claim that in Sept 2026 Food is cheap and he purchases Tuna for .49 per can, t-Bones Steaks for $5 a pound, and eggs dozens for $1.40. For unknown reasons he eats a nearly all protein, no fiber diet... I figure if thats true the stuff is expired, rancid, and or WWII surplus

Been awhile since I’ve checked the market on a Nolan Ryan in a psa 8. Well checked today, holy cow what happened? I understand inflation and markup but wow.

In fact, auto requests through the nolan ryan foundation have gotten so insane that he has doubled the price from $75 to $150.

I’m only on page 3 when you guys were talking a lot about greatest pitchers and stuff… What about this stat, Randy Johnson had 104 wins after the completion of his age 32 season and finished with over 300 wins. Most pitchers are starting to wind down at age 33, Randy was cranking it up.

A diamond cut raw 68 opc ryan that was described as VG - VG/EX just sold on classic auctions in Canada for $7500 with the juice! Card had a surface wrinkle and registration wasn’t great. Not bad sale for raw!

I think the seller is hoping to reach a higher level than the example sold by Heritage in March for 76K. If you read the description, he also mentions having sold a '68T Venezuelan Ryan RC for a lot of money. At 14K with 8 hours to go, it's just a matter of who wants to snipe it and surpass the level set by Heritage. The current amount is meaningless. Seems like a very high stakes gamble to get beyond what they paid, but if it does, then woot woot they win!
Edit to add: The card was also Silver stickered by MBA since the purchase at 70K. Make of it what you will.

Current eBay listing says it's from Los Angeles, CA
If that is the original buyer of the prior eBay listing, and they did NOT PSA VAULT the card, then they might have paid sales tax which is a pretty penny (could get a nice PSA 8 Jordan Sticker RC for that amount of sales tax). But maybe they used the PSA Vault to avoid sales tax, and then shipped the card from the Vault to MBA for the sticker?0 -

The two OPC Ryan RCs are two different cards (02xxxxxx) and (06xxxxxx).

I should also acknowledge the card sold at 70K and the one just sold are not the same card. Thanks Monte for pointing that out. Good price but why not more with that sticker. 🤔

If one sold for 70K, that's even better. at these prices the amount exposure really matters ebay vs Heritage makes a difference, but the seller may have saved some fees.
