It does sound better. it's misleading though. It's not supposed to be better. It's supposed to be the same thing. I don't like qualifiers. PSA seems to be the only grader that uses them.

that is a really big sale for raw. the last psa 3 that sold, in july, went for $6100
I think the seller is hoping to reach a higher level than the example sold by Heritage in March for 76K. If you read the description, he also mentions having sold a '68T Venezuelan Ryan RC for a lot of money. At 14K with 8 hours to go, it's just a matter of who wants to snipe it and surpass the level set by Heritage. The current amount is meaningless. Seems like a very high stakes gamble to get beyond what they paid, but if it does, then woot woot they win!
Edit to add: The card was also Silver stickered by MBA since the purchase at 70K. Make of it what you will.

If that is the original buyer of the prior eBay listing, and they did NOT PSA VAULT the card, then they might have paid sales tax which is a pretty penny (could get a nice PSA 8 Jordan Sticker RC for that amount of sales tax). But maybe they used the PSA Vault to avoid sales tax, and then shipped the card from the Vault to MBA for the sticker?

I should also acknowledge the card sold at 70K and the one just sold are not the same card. Thanks Monte for pointing that out. Good price but why not more with that sticker. 🤔

That's what I would have done. $56,000 sound like a great number to me. If one sold for 70K, that's even better. at these prices the amount exposure really matters ebay vs Heritage makes a difference, but the seller may have saved some fees.

The market for unopened is certainly strong and healthy.

The two OPC Ryan RCs are two different cards (02xxxxxx) and (06xxxxxx).

assuming the $70k sale was legit, the $55k sale last night was a big drop in price for the 68 opc ryan.
